Chapter Four
Kendall had stayed up almost all night writing a story about the fight. She’d done all the digging, and while they treated the event like it was underground, it actually had all the permits.
The fights might grow more popular because she wrote about it, if her story was chosen. She wrote about it from the angle of being underground to keep it edgy. Hopefully that’s what Robert was looking for. If this didn’t win him over, she was throwing in the towel and switching careers entirely. She just wasn’t cut out for being a reporter.
She was exhausted but had been up since before her alarm went off despite having had only three hours of sleep. Checking her hair in the mirror, she fixed her flyaways and headed out.
