On the day the article ran, Kendall couldn’t take it any longer. She bought a few copies and then headed to the gym. If he wasn’t there, she’d take it as a sign and leave it alone. If he was, then he was going to get a piece of her mind.
If only for closure, she needed to talk to him. She needed to know why when they had finally found their way to each other, he’d changed his mind. And despite being a strong, independent woman, who normally didn’t care what people, especially men, thought of her, she couldn’t help but wonder if she had done something wrong.
