Into the dorms

"We are here." Tony announced as he pulled up the bus. Clare jumped out of the bus immediately distancing herself from the toxic sight of Rick and his girlfriend, Kat aggressively making out regardless of the presence of the other two occupants of the back of the bus. Hunter agreed to come with her, Yay! She was not sure how she would have survived the week long event if she was all alone. Maybe she would have made some friends from other packs, maybe she would have not. But she was glad to have him with her. They all went into the waiting room of the dorm and headed straight to the front desk to register their pack name and collect the keys to their rooms. "Clare Adam-Baros, Room 215. Here is your room key and here is the brochure containing all you need to guide you through the tournament. Enjoy." The friendly guy at the desk told her handing her her key. "Thank you." Clare smiled her appreciation taking the key from him. "Oh crap! I'm pressed." Clare skipped ahead mischievously leaving Hunter to carry their suitcases while pretending to be urgently in need of the lavatory. She smirked to herself ignoring Hunter calling her name. She ran into the elevator that was luckily opening just as someone left it and pressed the button for the second floor. She stepped into the hallway of the second floor giggling to herself. She followed the plaque on the doors lining the hallway till she got to the one with the numbers 215. She put the key in and walked into the room. She headed straight for the queen sized bed and jumped on it. It was bouncy, and soft which was right up her alley. Next thing she did was check the bathroom and toilet out. There was a bathtub separated from the rest of the restroom by the a curtain. She came inside just as Hunter came in with their two suitcases and her carryall bag. "Awwn, Hunter. You brought my bags? You shouldn't have." She feigned surprise to see him with the luggages. She flashed him her best innocent smile as he gave her a stink eye. "It's not like I couldn't have left your bag in a public waiting room while you had to use the bathroom." He said dryly. "Thank you." She replied and took her bags from him. They unpacked their clothes and toiletries for the next half hour before taking a look at the brochure. "We have the rest of the evening to ourselves. Then tomorrow morning, there would be an orientation at the main hall for all the contestants from the twelve packs. From 8 to —12?" She looked up from the book to Hunter, who was lying down on one side of his bed with his eyes closed, wide eyed. "What do they want to tell us four whole hours? And who wakes up a bunch of teenagers by 8 during school break. They have brought us here to suffer." "Speak for yourself." Hunter said without opening his eyes "The orientation is for the contestants, —meaning you, not me." Clare gave him a betrayed look. "What would you be doing with all that time?" "Well for one, I would not be waking up by 7 like you would. Then I would take a swim in the pool I saw up front. Then I would hit the gym and then take a long sweet soak in the bathtub. And finish with a nice brunch." He counted off mentally each word sounding more and more like a taunt to Clare till it became a full blown mental torture. "Ahhhh!" She cried out her dramatically throwing herself back into the bed. "This is so unfair." "I want the left side of the bed." Clare whined throwing a pillow at Hunter which he caught effortlessly. "Well I only sleep on the left side of the bed." Hunter said throwing the pillow back on the bed. "Well I got into the room first so I call dibs." She announced grabbing the pillow to throw at him again. "I already slept there earlier which means it's mine." Hunter caught the pillow again and threw it back to the bed. "As the guy, You should leave it to me." She stomped her feet playfully. Hunter raised his eyebrows with a smirk. "Women and Men are equal. Isn't that what females want nowadays?" She shot him a glare. "Well, I'm not feminist so let me have it." Hunter smirked at her. "Fine, you can. But only because I know you won't let me win and I just want to crash right now." She gave him a bright smile. "Thank you, Hunter. You are such a gentleman." He rolled her eyes and rolled to the right side of the bed, facing away from her. "Good night." "Good night." She called out from behind him.
