My heart is beating fast, as if I had run a marathon and climbed the Mount Everest all at once. I look at him, my brain in shambles after realization downs on me. I glance around us hastily, praying with all my might that the hall is empty. 

"You kissed me." My voice comes smaller than expected, still winded and astonished. 

"You wouldn't shut up." He says as if it's nothing.

"And so you kissed me!?" The anger that had previously subsided is injected a new doze at his indifference. 

"Well it worked, didn't it?" A smile begins tugging at his lips but is quickly disregarded when he sees the scowl on my face.

"I'm your student." I say in a hushed voice now, as if the walls were somehow going to hear that forbidden word.

"I'm well aware of that."

"And yet you kissed me!"

"Yes, Alexia, I kissed you, I think that's very clear now."
