"But why must I always be confined within these walls? When can I venture out, meet people, and make friends?" Embra sighed. "I promised your father to protect you at all costs. This is the safest way I can do so. He loves you dearly and calls you his little gem," her aunt explained. "I'm tired of this life, and why am I kept hidden for so long? Dad hasn't visited in 12 years. How is that love?" Embra questioned. "Your father loves you more than you realize. He's kept you safe after your mother passed. He will return to you soon, I promise," assured her aunt. "Rest now, my brave girl.
