CHAPTER SIXTEEN :Girlfriend

Three days passed peacefully as the relationship between Sly and lily blossomed. They always clinged to one another or just basically Sly who keeps on clinging to her to cast any eye on her. Two days before, he announced his relationship with lily to both Harry and pearl, who felt happy for them, most expecially pearl and in those three days, Ian never showed himself to her not once which made lily feel kind of dejected by his behaviour.

In those three days in the life of Dylan, he still couldn't get rid of his playboy self. He flirted with almost every girl in his school. At some point he had a disagreement with his father about him dating girls and not settling down for one.

On that faithful Thursday, he almost left the house because of Dave's taunts.

The relationship between Tiara and Rex deteriorated day by day due to their One night stand. Cleo apologized to her about what happened in his office. She felt hurt knowing she didn't give her first to him

While for Rex, he felt rather happy that she lost her first to him but still felt a little confused as to why he felt happy for that.

Highland highschool.

The principal announced to them about a young talented boy joining them in the school as a student and the music class president.

Hearing this announcement, Sly felt weird suddenly as his mind went to why Ian hasn't showed or met with lily since their last conversation. He smiled thinking the latter finally accepted defeat but that smile did not last for long after he found out, the so called talented boy was no other than his rival, IAN.

"Brother Ian!" Lily called out waving at Ian who was parking his motorbike. She unintentionally but excitedly dragged her hand away from Sly's hold and ran straight to hug Ian, leaving the boiling jealous boyfriend of hers on spot.

"Hey, little princess" he hugged her back and gave a wink to Sly, who was still standing where lily left him.

Sly finally walked closer to him and held Lily's waist tightly moving her closer to him and he pecked on her lips softly right in front of the students outside the building. The other students who were walking began murmuring. The looked at Astrid then to Sly and then Lily finding their relationship confusing.

Astrid got angry when she saw Sly's gestures with lily. Anyway, since she was dating him, he never shared any intimacy with her but seeing Lily getting it, she fumed angrily more.

Ian saw this but smiled as he looked straight into Lily's eyes to see whether she felt comfortable and happy with it. He got the answer he had expected.

"Sly, can you not do this here....in school and definitely not in front of others and you know....brother Ian, it's so embarrassing....I don't like it" she voiced out like a whisper to him.

Sly became gloomy since the time Ian showed up but felt worst hearing Lily's confession about his gestures. He felt hurt, because it hurt his pride. He only wanted to show off in front of Ian and not the other way round.

"What? Is it bad or wrong to claim what's mine uh?" He cried pouting his lips.

"Childish" Ian thought.

"You're my girlfriend alright and what I did a minute ago is one of the responsibility of this boyfriend?"

"My little princess has grown up in... she's doesn't need her knight to protect her anymore"

"She doesn't need the knight anymore since the prince is here for her" Sly cupped her face and gave her a kiss on her left cheek " she only needs me to protect her and no one else, not even you" he completed before dragging her away along with him back to the class.

"Silly" Ian smirked.

Class 7

Sly took lily inside and warned the other classmates not to enter the class until he tells them to.

Outside the classroom

"Are they dating?" Aella, a friend of Astrid asked trying to see what was going on in the closed room.

"C'mon, he never broke up with Astrid or did he?" Mae asked.

"You guys shut it.... I'm trying to think here".

Suddenly the class boys chatted.

"Seems like the former school belle has a love rival" they laughed.

"Isn't it ridiculous to think he would be hers forever?" A short boy cried.

"I...I.." Astrid didn't know when her tears flowed down. To save her imprinted image, she ran away from there immediately to the restroom. When she was about to go in, she hit on a hard chest.

"Come with me" she heard a baritone voice say.

Inside the classroom

"What was that?" Lily asked furiously but calmed her temper.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking that?"

"You can't deprive me of my freedom Sly" she explained.

"I'm not".
