I looked around the series of houses that seem normal to me, unless they don't have anyone inside or anyone anywhere near the house. Darius is beginning to be heavy and I can't hear anymore grunts or anything from him rather than his deep rugged breathing, and that is not good at all. I continued walking past the empty houses and tried looking at the windows to see if there is anyone. "Is this here? Darius?" I got no reply from him. I started to feel myself crept in fear but I tried to brush it off because I don't want to drop him off. I stopped in the middle of the road and sat there, slowly letting Darius down with his head on my lap. I started to cry as my last hope seems to vanish into thin air.
