Bryce's POV:
Next Week
Today marks our first day back at school after a two-week break. Last week, I spent time with Abby, my friends, and attended practice.
"I'm so ready to start term 2," Abby smiles as Dad heads off to work and Mom drops her at school.
"Yeah, and the championship is next month," I reply. "We’re definitely making it."
"And I promise to attend all the games that qualify you for the championship," Mom adds.
"Thank you," I say, hugging her.
"I'm your biggest fan, after all," she smiles.
"Since day one."
After breakfast with Mom and Abby, I head to pick up Avalon. We've developed a close friendship over the past week since Jesse has been busy with his new girlfriend.
She no longer wants to ride with Jesse due to the awkwardness between them and needs some space.
