Chapter 23 AN INTERVIEW Rafael drove at a leisurely pace through the picturesque Salamanca neighbourhood in north-east Madrid. Fernando had assigned him to interview a young woman named Teresa. She had submitted her brief story to the newspaper, keen to help other women who had survived domestic violence. He followed the GPS tracker, taking in the sandstone buildings, parks, and greenery.
