Rafael sat in the staffroom the following day, engrossed in casual conversation with Blanca and Emilio when Fernando entered, biting into a chorizo-and-cheese roll. “Hey, boss. What’s up?”
“How are you doing with Teresa’s human-interest article? The deadline’s today, and we need to get the online version done.”
“It’s ready, Nando. I only need to double-check it. Once that’s done, I’ll send it over to you.”
