A DEATH
Daniela gazed through the car window as they drove into Centro, approximately ten minutes from the Madrid residential centre they’d just visited. Leandro left when he was called to an emergency.
She barely noticed as they passed the grand Royal Palace, the Prado Museum, the Botanical Gardens close to Retiro Park, and the Gran Via shopping strip in Centro. The walking families reminded her how her father had taken her to the Prado Museum and told her stories about the history of the artists. That was during better times.
