"Who the f**k were you with?!" he asked, gripping her forearms. "You bipolar bastard! It was you who did that to me!!" she hissed, pushing him off. She threw the hanger at him and he caught it in the air. She watched as his memory chose to return, his eyes widening. "Ringing bells?" she spat, as she pushed him, walking out. "Aria" he called as he pulled her back into the room. "Let me go, you arse!" she hissed, struggling wholeheartedly. She was successful in pushing him away and paced to the door. "Listen to me Aria" he groaned, as he shut the opening door, trapping her between the door and him. "Enough, Mr. King!!" she spat, her back facing him, as she pulled at the door handle. His hands were on either side of her head, forcing the door shut. "Aria, listen to me" he said, leaning in. She stilled, taking a deep breath. "I'm sorry" he said, his lips touching her ear. She bit her lip, but didn't respond. "It's unimaginably difficult for me to say that, but I did, only for you" he said. "I haven't apologized to anyone in the past ten years" he said, kissing her behind her ear. "I mean it" he said, kissing her jawline. "I don't care" she pushed him as she turned. "Did you hear me?" she asked, when he moved back. "I don't want your apology" she shook her head. "You can throw it in the bin for all o care" she hissed. "I know" he said softly. "I know you're angry with me and you have full rights" he said. "If this is the way you're tying to apologize or make me feel better, you suck at it!" she said, looking angry. "I know" he said again, making her anger increase ten folds. "Can you stop that?! It's damn annoying!!" she hissed. "Ari.." he started but she scoffed. "I'm weak and defenseless, you can get away with anything you do to me" she spat. "I apologized" his voice rose. "It's not enough!!" she said, loudly. "It's nothing compared to what I've gone through yesterday, I didn't sleep for a second" she said. "It's not like I've cheated on you and you've cried all night. Stop being dramatic" he spat. "Right!" she said, her voice cracking. "Damn!!" he cursed as she turned around. "I didn't mean that! It came out wrong" he said, holding her back. "Leave me" she said, void of any emotion. "Aria" he groaned in frustration. "I'm not able to do it right. I'm trying to apologize" he said. "It's not working! You don't even know what is to apologize! Nobody ends up saying trash when they want to apologize" she spat. He turned her around and she let him. "Can you forgive me?" he asked. She shook her head no. "I can't" she said, walking out. "Please forgive my incorrigible mistake your ladyship" he said with sincerity, stopping her. She almost smiled listening to the same words that he said the previous day, which this time, were sincere. Almost smiled. "I am weak and defenseless, without you" he said softly, when she had stopped. "I apologize" he said, his hands wrapping around her waist and making her back rest against his chest. "Forgive me?" he asked softly and her stupid, stupid heart smiled. I know I was angry but the man deserves a chance. Forgive him lady!! He's so damn sweet and let's not forget that he was drunk! She smiled as she hummed. "Forgiven?" he asked and she nodded. "You were easy" he chuckled, making her gasp and turn around. She pushed him, breathing fire. "Woah! Cool it, I was kidding" he smiled. A charming smile that could capture her heart. Eh, he already did, long ago. Always ruining the moment. She sighed, trying not to smile. "I can see the smile already" he smirked. "Unimaginable" she said, shaking her head. "You're weak and defenseless without me?" she smirked, asking. "Kinda" he shrugged and she rose a brow. "I'm weak, since I know you'll throw me out of the bed in the night and defenseless because I'll have no choice but to listen to you and walk out, given no chance to defend myself" he smirked. "Present your case" she folded her arms across her chest. He smirked again. "With all respect, your highness" he bowed. She chuckled softly at his actions. "I, being a great friend and companion, had no choice but to intake alcohol the previous day" he said, trying to pull a serious face. "I did refuse, however, and had considerate amount, but the affect prolonged. I humbly apologize and beg your highness, to consider the matter with sympathy" he said. Sympathy?! This man is trying to make me laugh, but no. I'm continuing the act. "After considering the case and hearing the accused, I hereby declare the man guilty. As penalty, the guilty will be occupying the couch outside the room, for the next two days and is not allowed to have any contact with the poor, abused girl" she finished. He gasped, placing a hand over his chest. "I beg your highness to reconsider" he said, pleading playfully. "No physical contact with the girl, which includes hugs, cuddling or any other sort of contact" she said. "Any other?" he smirked. She cleared her throat and angled her head. Your wish is my command, your highness" he said and she nodded. "Court is adjourned for the day" she said and ended up laughing. He smirked as he came close. "Uh uh! What I said, still stands" she said and he rose a brow. "I mean it" she said, seriously, making him groan. "Poor, abused girl?" he chuckled and she joined. "You did bruise me" she chuckled and his face hardened. "I didn't mean to, I was drun.." he started and she shook her head. "I heard all that just now" she chuckled. "It's fine" she said and he tried a smile. "That will never happen again. Never" he said, determination in his voice. "Better not" she said, smirking. He felt disgusted with himself and he found it hard to breathe, guilt ripping him open. He couldn't get the image of her bruise out of his head. "I'm sorry" he said again, not daring to look at her. She hugged him, taking him by surprise. He smiled. Just as he was about to hold her she clicked her tongue. "You can't touch me" she smirked. "Well, you're hugging me" he chuckled. "Yeah, I can. You can't" she chuckled, moving back. "Are you serious?" he asked, frowning. "Deadly" she nodded, patting his shoulder. "Put on a shirt, at least now" she smirked, walking outside.
