Good to see you again mates!! Yup, the wait is finally over! I present to you the second book of the 'The notorious billionaire'. This book is purely fictional and the characters exist in my head and yours.  Lots of Luv ♥ Enjoy!! She groaned softly, her hands instinctively blocking her eyes from the stream of bright light. She heard vague voices and the curtains were immediately drawn. She blinked her eyes, trying to adjust to the light. Everything slowly started to take shape, becoming clear. After straining her eyes she could make out a familiar face in the dark, approaching her. "Aria" she could hear, the voice was gruff and strained. She tried to answer but her dry throat didn't help. She looked around and nodded to the water. The glass was lifted to her lips after helping her in a sitting position, helping her sip slowly. "Do you want anything else?" he asked causing her to nod. "An e..explaination" her voice wasn't as smooth as it was but it was still music to her own ears. "I know. Firstly, I need you to lie down and we'll talk" he nodded. Before she could reply the door opened, revealing a caveman. A rather tall, handsome caveman, who she could remember as Thomas King, her husband. Just as Thomas entered, the man rushed into the bathroom, hiding himself. She looked back to Thomas. "Damn you!!" he cursed, kissing her forehead. "Are you crazy?!" he asked, eyes concerned. She nodded slightly, laughter in her eyes. "You are going to regret this!! How dare you do this to me?! Do you have any clue how I have been, these five days?!" his voice rose. She nodded her head yes. "I can see you've grown a beard" she chuckled but ended up coughing. "Don't talk damn it!" his voice was harsh as he helped her with the water. She shook her head. "One more sip" he said. "Beard gives you an intense look" she chuckled. "What did I say about talking? Just go to sleep" he said. He hugged her tightly, like Agnes does Gru in Despicable me, clinging. "O..Ow" she breathed, making him move back. "I thought I lost you! And it is not funny!!" he roared, looking at her burst into fits of laughter. "You do something like this one more time and I'll make sure you'll regret it for the rest of your life" he said, voice dangerously low. "W..What did I even do?" she asked. "Why do you think you're in this cursed hospital?" he gritted. "I don't know" she answered honestly. "Because you couldn't manage your damn diet!!" he spat. "I'm hiring a nutritionist for you" he said with determination. "Oh come on Mr. King" she whined. "It's nothing really" she said. "Being unconscious for five days is nothing?! Making me go mad is nothing?! I almost thought you were f*****g dead" he said, trying not to be loud. "Excuse me?! Lower your voices!" a slim nurse, with round spectacles came in. Aria nodded while Thomas sniggered. "And don't you, Mister, have some sense to call the doctor or one of us, when she is awake?" the nurse rose a brow. 'She has a death wish!' Aria thought. "Don't use that tone with me" Thomas shook his head, growling. "And who's going to stop me?" she guffawed. Your coffin is on the way, lady. On the way! "Daisy!" they heard a screech and the nurse cursed. "You're lucky I'm being needed elsewhere. If not, you would have faced my wrath!" she shook her head, showing her fisted hand before walking out. Thomas's jaw clenched and unclenched, eyes shutting momentarily. His eyes showed fury but his attention was diverted by Aria. "Mr. King, you ought to have a bath" she said, making his jaw drop open. "Are you telling me that I smell?" he rose a brow. "No, all I am telling you is to freshen up, because you look like s**t" she smirked. He shook his head in disbelief and let out a laugh. "I'll be back" he nodded, she smiled, nodding. "On second thoughts.." he looked back at her and she shook her head. "No second thoughts" she said, firmly. "You need to freshen up, I'll be fine. I can tell you've not left the hospital for days" she chuckled. "Because of a stupid wife of mine, who refuses to balance her diet!! Who also ended up unconscious for god knows how many hours and I have been worried sick!!" he said. She smirked. "Worried for me?" she asked. He pinched the bridge of his nose, shaking his head. "You, my dear wife, are a psychotic maniac!!" he said, walking out, shutting the door behind him. "Spill" she looked at the man who exited the bathroom. "What did you do, Mr. Roberto?" she asked again, making him sigh. "I just pulled away the pen you happened to threaten me with, and the next thing I know, you pass out in my arms" he said. "A person doesn't remain unconscious for five days, just because that person doesn't have a balanced diet. What actually happened? More like what you did to me?" she asked. "Aria, you're getting it all wrong!" she could tell he was frustrated. "You did faint, because of low heamoglobin content or something like that!" he said. "You didn't shove the pen into my stomach, making me lose consciousness?" she asked, eyebrows furrowed. "Lady, are you crazy?" he asked. "Why the hell on earth would I do that?!" he started pacing around the room. "I don't know, you tell me" she said. "Look Aria, whatever happened in the past, is past! I hold no grudge against you" he said. "Yes! I am supposed to be the one holding a grudge, but I'm clearly not" she sat up. "I wanted to apologise to you" he sat on the chair opposite the bed. "That is all I wanted to do and hence invited you for lunch" he explained. "But you denied, leaving me no choice" he said. "I knew if I let you go out of the cabin that day, I wouldn't get a chance to apologise" he said, his hands interlocked. "If that was your intention, why prolong the conversation that day?" she asked. "You were acting hideous. Can you blame me?" he asked. "You threatened to kill me with my pen" he chuckled. Earning no response from her, he continued. "You fainted and I admitted you here, ensuring the hospital authorities call your family" he said, making her nod slowly. She always knew her body was lacking iron, but didn't think it would cause such a problem. "It's a rare case actually, fainting and all, for that long" she muttered to herself. "Congratulations on your marriage" he smiled formally, standing up as he straightened his tie. "Thank you" was all she could say. He looked tired as well, with his stubble he looked more attractive. "You stayed here too?" she asked, mentally kicking herself, off the surface of the earth. "Yes" he chuckled. "You happened to meet Mr. King?" she asked and he shook his head. "I stayed clear out of his way" he said. "He had become a fire spitting dragon! A damn scary one at that!" he chuckled. "He threatened to burn down the hospital, if something was to happen to you" he said. He reached the door and she debated whether or not to speak. "I'm sorry" she said, making him look back at her, his hand on the door knob. He shook his head. "I really am. For whatever happened, now and a year ago" her voice was soft. "Not your fault. I deeply apologise for my barbaric behaviour that day" he said. "I'm truly ashamed" he said. She didn't know what to say and decided not to say anything at all. "Forgive me Aria" he said. She nodded, putting up a small smile. "I apologise on behalf of my sister as well" she said and he laughed bitterly. "She is paying for her mistakes already" a forced smirked made its way to her lips. Aria shut her eyes, clearly knowing there was more to her fainting than what met the eyes.
