“I know what I am saying. You are my friend Mike. You should believe me. Trust me on this. I know that if I tell mom, she will never believe me. That is why I came here,” Alan uttered.

“But now that you are also behaving like this. I think I'll have to prove myself before any one of you believe me. I will take my leave now. I need to go back home. I will have to convince her to come back so I can get the DNA test done,” Alan said.

He stood up and dropped a couple of dollar bill on the counter. The bartender stared at the money with lustful eyes but then he looked at Mike who looked like he would kill him if he accepts the money.

He gulped in fear and quickly bowed lowly to Alan. “No need to pay sir. You are not a guest here. You are a friend of my boss so I will be damned if I accept this money from you.”

Even though he doesn't mean a word of what he just said, he still has to sound convincing to Alan or he is sure Mike will have his head on a plate for accepting the money. So he can only swallow his greed and refuse the money.

Alan smiled and looked at Mike. He knows it's Mike that is making the bartender too scared to accept the money. Mike quickly looked away feeling embarrassed that Alan caught him glaring at the bartender.

Alan looked back at the bartender and said,“Don't worry about it. This is not a payment for your service. It is just a generous amount of tip for you.”

I am very sure if the bartender wasn't so scared right now. His jaw would have dropped. If he isn't wrong, the dollar bill should contain hundred dollars each so how can he just give it out as tip?

Well you can never understand the Rich's minds. Before the bartender could say anything, Alan turned around and left. As he left, Mike glared at the bartender who quickly lowered his head. I am sure he must be thinking,'Boss!!! Please don't look at me that way. I am not at fault here. You were sitting in front of me. The kind, gentle man chose to leave the money out of his good will.'

He didn't dare say it out loud though and could only keep the thought in his mind. Mike didn't even care. He stood up and turned around to leave. The bartender looked at him happily as he left without touching the money or growling at him.

The boss is really changing. Sharon stood up as she watched Mike leave. She panicked as she quickly followed him. Why isn't the pill working yet? Did that fool lie to her about the effects of the pill?

She immediately swore she was gonna kill the drug dealer that sold the pill to her when she has a chance. But for now, she has to find a way to somehow stop Mike from leaving the club.

It will be disastrous if he is not near her or she is not close by when the pill finally starts working. So she rushed to him and accidentally bumped into a waiter. All the alcoholic drinks on the tray of the waiter poured on Mike.

Mike froze as he felt himself being drenched in alcohol. Isn't this karma? He did this to Alan earlier and now he has gotten his payback. Hahaha, very funny. Karma surely exist.

He looked up with angry eyes and the poor waiter shivered in fear. He walked to the waiter and literally began to strangle him in anger. “How dare you!?,” he bellowed at the poor boy who was slowly losing his breath.

Sharon smiled. Seems like the pill has started working. Wait what! She gave him a pill that is supposed to make him irritated and angry easily? How will that help her situation?

When she saw that the boy's eyes was slowly closing, she panicked a little and rushed forward before he kills the innocent boy who just happened to be an accidental prawn in her game.

She touched him and said,“Mike, let go of him. You are gonna kill him.” Mike felt angry and irritated that someone dared to touch him so he let go of the boy who collapsed on the floor. Some of the bodyguards rushed forward to carry the boy and call their private doctor. They can't go to hospital for fear of being caught by the police.

So as I was saying, Mike turned angrily to Sharon prepared to make her his next victim. His hands were already stretched to her neck to strangle her when he suddenly stopped and stared at her.

Why is Ella in front him? He frowned in confusion. He remember leaving her in his room so how did she come out? Sharon smiled when she saw that he didn't strangle her. The pill is indeed working.

Mike looked around and quickly carried her in his arms before rushing away from the club. No, he can't let anyone take her away from him.

The other bîtches who saw the entire scene sneered with immense hatred. One of the them said,“I wonder what dirty tricks Sharon played this time.”

“What has she done to Mike? I told you guys not to trust that b***h one bit,” the one that said this is that lady that was asking Sharon questions outside Mike's room earlier.

She has always been suspicious of Sharon's true intentions and this just proved her right. Others looked at her wondering why they never believed her before. It must be because of the way that snitch was always treating her.

They all soon began to plot against Sharon. She won't go scot free after betraying them like this.

Alan walked into the mansion tiredly. He suddenly felt reluctant to go inside. But he has to see Jane. God! He made a terrible mistake. He should have explained things to her earlier before leaving.

What if she already heard it from someone else and misunderstood him?
