1742 Words
A year had passed since Bastet and Radames had met and they had fallen more and more in love with each other. But they had kept their love a secret from everyone. Only the Gods and Goddesses knew of their secret love. Bastet was about to celebrate her eighteenth birthday, and because of the announcement her father planned on making, she knew it was time. It was time to tell her mother and father that she was in love with Radames and that it was him that she wanted to marry. So, on the eve of her eighteenth birthday she and Radames had the long-awaited discussion. Bastet sat on her lounge chair, while Radames sat on a cushion on the floor next to her his head in her lap. They had never kissed or made love, for they both knew if things did not go their way, she had to remain untouched. All they had done was hug and hold hands occasionally. “Rada, we need to tell my father, it's time.” Bastet says softly, as she runs her hand through his hair. He looks up at her, “You know Kitten if he says no that's final. He could keep us apart forever if he wanted to. Are you sure about this?” Bastet let out a sigh. I know that but I’m turning eighteen and he needs to understand that this is my life.” Radames gently touched her face and carefully tucked one of her jeweled braids behind her ear. She could see the fire burning in his eyes. Just as the fire burned in hers. She wanted to kiss him, but she would not the time was not right. She knew that they had to be careful and it was not something she wanted to push too far. But the fire and sparks between them were strong. Bastet looks at him and says, “We can do this.” He nodded and replies, “Then we will. We will talk to him soon.” Bastet let her face lean on his hand as he softly caressed her cheek. As much as she thought they should wait the desire was too great. She leaned down and their lips met for the first time. It was intense like a storm of fireworks filled the sky in their minds. The kiss was passionate, so passionate that Radames ended up pulling her down off the chaise and onto his lap. His hands were in her hair, her hands were in his. She let a quiet moan escape from her lips into his mouth. After a few moments they parted and both stared at each other out of breath. Bastet felt as if her body was on fire, deep within her most private areas. She felt a tingle and reached for him again. Their lips met again, this kiss more needy and full of hunger and want. Bastet's body began to ache in places she had never felt before. She could feel Radames manhood stirring under his cloth skirt. She let out a gasp as she could feel it rub against her round ass. He pulled her close and kissed her cheek. “I love you Bastet, I want you as my wife. Will you marry me?” He asks her softly. Bastet wanted to say yes, but she knew that they needed to be patient. She looked at him, “Before I can say yes or give you an answer, we need to speak to my father. Then I'll give you an answer.” Radames understood and gave her another soft kiss on the cheek. “Whenever you are ready, we will tell him how we feel about each other.” It was then decided that the next day when she turned eighteen, they would tell her parents that they were in love and wanted to be together. It was a long night for Bastet she tossed and turned until morning came. When dawn finally came Bastet was woken up by the Goddess Bastet. She sat on the edge of Bastet's bed, and said softly, “It's time to wake up child.” Bastet opened her eyes and sat up slowly. She looked at the Goddess and smiled. “Today is a big day for you my dear.” The Goddess says... Bastet nodded, “I'm so nervous, Rada and I are telling my parents that we want to be married, because we are in love. But I have a feeling there’s going to be issues with that.” The Goddess smiled, “Bastet, whether he agrees or not your union is blessed by all the gods and goddesses. You were made for each other; he is your soulmate as you are his.” Bastet let out a happy sigh, “Thank you my lady. I'm happy to hear that you all support us.” The Goddess nodded and then stood up. She stretched out her pawlike hand to Bastet, “Come, it's time you get you ready for your party.” Bastet smiled and got up taking her hand. The Goddess looked at her and spun her around in a circle. Material came from thin air and wrapped itself around her body. It was a sheer white color with different color gems creating bands around her waist and breast area. It hugged her curves and made her look like the grown adult she was. The Goddess stopped spinning her and the rest of the material fell into place. It was layered and reached the floor. But the Goddess was not done yet. She kissed the top of Bastet's head and then took a step back. There was a now a golden diadem on her braided black hair. It wrapped around her head and met in the front forming a leaping cat. The cat had emeralds for eyes that matched the green of Bastet's eyes. She ran in her sandals to her floor length mirror and looked at herself. Bastet turned and smiled at the Goddess. “Thank you, I love it!” She says giving her a hug. The Goddess hugs her and smiles. “You're welcome now go and enjoy your day.” Bastet leaves her room and goes into the dining hall to eat some breakfast. Radames was already there eating. He stood and gave her a small bow and a wink. “Good morning Princess Bastet and happy birthday.” He says. Bastet smiled at the love of her life. She thanked him and sat down and began eating, her parents came in and after everyone ate, they all went into the throne room. The celebration began when a lot of the guests arrived. There was music, dancing, and a large feast. When the celebration was over and all the guests had left, Bastet gave Radames a look and a slight nod, he knew that it was time. The Pharaoh and his wife sat in their thrones and when they saw Bastet and Radames approaching, holding each other’s hands the Pharaoh looked at his wife for a second. Bastet approached the throne and looked at her father. She was nervous. “What is the meaning of this Bastet and Radames?” The Pharaoh asked his voice stern and full of irritation. “Father before you get upset, let me, well let us explain. I love him, I want to marry him and be with him forever.” Bastet says softly. Radames looks at her lovingly, then he looks at the Pharaoh, “I love her Pharaoh I know we planned on finding her a suitor but I can’t do that. I can’t do that because I want to court her and marry her.” The Pharaoh is visibly upset, “Who do you think you both are to go over my head and decide that you would be together. Bastet you are my daughter and you will marry who I choose for you. Not who you want. It is part of your duty of being royalty that you follow my rules and marry who I choose. And you Radames, I trusted you to advise me and to help me find a suitor for her. I did not mean for that suitor to be you. I will say this once and only once I forbid you to be together. Bastet you will marry when I decide you should. If I catch you both together you will feel my wrath.” Bastet was upset, her eyes were burning with tears, “Father that isn't fair. You have decided everything for me, let me make this decision. You know as well as I do that the gods and goddesses have chosen someone for me. So, let me choose.” Her father stood in anger, “My answer is no Bastet, now leave us I need to speak to Radames alone.” Bastet was furious, she let go of Radames hand and spun around her dress swiftly moving behind her. She ran down the steps of the throne room and left. Bastet knew what she had to do. She went into her room grabbed a bag and began to pack... Meanwhile in the throne room: The Pharaoh was yelling at Radames, “If you go near her, I’ll have you put to death. She is my daughter and I will choose a husband for her. Now leave us.” Radames bowed and left the throne room. He went into his room and paced for a while. Finally, he sat down on his bed trying to get his thoughts clear. He heard a low growl so he opened his door and Ankanah came in carrying in a note. Radames took the note from him. It read, “Meet me at our secret spot when the moon is at its highest point.” And that is when he knew. She wanted to run away with him, just as they had always secretly planned. He wrote a simple yes on the note and sent it back to his love. When night fell and the moon was high in the sky, he took a bag and he snuck out of his room. He snuck over to the great pyramid and he waited for Bastet. Bastet left her room through a secret entrance with Ankanah by her side. They made their way out of the palace and into the dessert. Where she met up with Radames...
