CHAPTER EIGHTEEN June 25, 1937 ~ Dr. Steven’s Journal ~ The Pool. Open-Air Overalls Man introduced himself today—his name is Paul. Named after the Apostle Paul, he said. “That is the only resemblance.” He brought his grandson, who wears overalls too—open air. His name is Ralph. Spitting image of his grandad. Can’t wait to meet the rest of the family. Back in the pool today. I have tested the water at length. Jars line up on shelves and wooden boxes I built against the camper. Each jar holds two inches of pool water and has been tested for buoyancy, by putting a different object into it—a ball, leaf, pen, pebble.
