CHAPTER NINETEEN June 27, 1937 ~ Dr. Steven’s Journal ~ Church. One of the ladies I met at Thelma’s invited me to the Lutheran church and I went. Figured it would appease the townsfolk. There are still many who don’t want me in town. I could be walking down one side of the street, with someone heading right for me. They might look up and see me and cross to the other side.
