Small trees flew into the air. Bill walked up beside her. “I bet it’s not. Bet it’s froze shut—just stuck real good.” He yanked on it, but it held tight. “Well, maybe not. Maybe it is locked.” He looked down at her. “So, no key?” “I forgot to ask.” She scratched her head under her hard hat and settled it on her head again. “Here. Let me.” Rat threw a tree onto the pile and shoved his way between them. He planted his feet in front of the camper door, took one hard yank on the door knob and the door broke free.
