11. The Talk

Lillian's POV

Dr. Lowe leads us to a room down the hall and I can feel my heart beating faster and my hands get a little sweaty. Once we are in the room Dr. Lowe has me sit on this hard bed that's small and high above the ground, it's covered in a paper sheet. I'm playing with the paper and trying to see where it comes from when I hear her say with a soft chuckle, "That paper is to keep the bed clean and is replaced after each patient, I'm Dr. Lowe, its nice to meet you Luna. Now what seems to be the problem?"

I look over to Emmett because I'm not sure why they brought me here today so I'm not sure what they wanted to ask her. Emmett understands and began to tell her, " Lillian as you know is our Mate we met her yesterday at the Alpha meeting at Stone River pack. We noticed right away that she was in pain and took her to be checked out at the pack hospital there. Lillian had bruises all over her torso and made a comment that there were more but she didn't feel conferrable removing anymore close. We told her that was ok but that we were going to have her checked fully once we arrived here. So we were hoping you could do a full exam and then maybe go over some information with us." 

Dr. Lowe nods her head saying yes, and gets up to hand me a gown that ties in the back, " Lillian why don't you use the bathroom over there and change into this, please remove all close even your underwear and when your ready head back out."

I get up and feel so nervous, I look down and walk to the bathroom, not sure why I needed to remove all my close but she's the doctor not me. I slowly remove everything and see the bruises that cover my body and touch them to feel how tender they still are. I take a deep breath after putting the gown on and tying it then stepping out the bathroom door. Emmett, Ender and the doctor are all standing in a small circle talking in low voices and I can't hear what they are saying. Dr. Lowe looks over at me with a sad smile and asks me to take a seat on the bed, " Lillian first we are going to check over the injuries you have then we are going to do an exam of your lady parts, then go over some information with you and the Alphas. Now first I want to ask are you fine with the Alphas being in the room or would you like it to be just us? I ask because we will need to move the gown around and it will expose your body to them."

Everyone waits for me to give my answer and they don't rush me, " I think I would feel better if they stay, I don't know you and as much as I don't want them to see me like this I don't trust you and that scares me more. I'm sorry." I look over to my Alphas to see small smiles on there faces and they give me nods to show they understand. Dr. Lowe looks at me with a sad face but nods in understanding. 

" Thats fine Lillian I understand, now I will be asking you questions as we go through the exam just answer they questions the best you can. Now please lay back, I'm going to cover you bottom half with this sheet so that I can lift the gown up to look at you stomach." I do as she asks and feel her put the sheet to cover my lower half before pulling up the gown to expose my chest and  torso. " There appears to be bad bruising on your torso and chest. Lets start with how you get the bruises on your chest then well move to the torso. Also when did it happen and by who?"

I took a deep breath because I didn't like talking about this, " The marks made on my chest came from Alpha Malcolm, he was grabbing me when a warrior came in to tell him that the Alphas we about to arrive for the meeting. The ones on my stomach were from Alpha Malcolm, his son and a few of his friends, they punched and kicked me for taking to long in the kitchen then they told Alpha something and he punched and kicked me for doing what ever they said I did." I don't make eye contact when talking just looking at the ceiling, Dr. Lowe responds to me, " Ok so these attacks happened yesterday?" I nod yes " and when you say Alpha Malcolm was grabbing you what do you mean?" I glance her way before I close my eyes and tell her. " Alpha Malcolm doesn't just beat me.. he ..he also makes me do things, s****l things. He had me do this after he beat me, after he pulled me close to him and was touching me and saying things before the warrior came, then he let me go and told me to make food for the Alphas."

I still had my eyes closed and couldn't bring myself to look at anyone, Dr. Lowe took a deep breath and said, " We will circle back to this but I'll examen your stomach then we will do the exam on your lady parts, now it looks like your bruises are still really bad even though they should be healed by now. It doesn't look like any ribs are broken, but they are still a deep purple and blue. I would recommend rest and lots of meat to help heal faster. Now I'll pull down the gown and I need you to put your legs in these stirrups and I will cover your bottom half with the sheet again so I can only see. You will feel some pressure when I insert two of my fingers inside then more pressure as I push on your stomach."

Even with her telling me what was happening I couldn't keep myself calm, my breathing increased as well as my heart rate. Both my Alphas went to hold my hands and came close to my face, saying kind things to me and telling me it would be over soon and how brave I was being. I had never had anyone talk to me this way before and it made me feel something like comfort. Before I could freak out even more the doctor said she was done and that I could sit up.

"Lillian it looks like everything is fine and that you are still a virgin, now you were saying that Alpha Malcolm had you do things, what did you mean by that?"

Looking down at my hands I replied, " He would touch me and make me touch him and would make me get on my knees and put him in my mouth, he would release in my mouth or on my face and would say things to me and call me names. If I didn't do it well he would beat me more, yesterday he told me since I was now 18 I could take him completely and that maybe he would visit me that night." I didn't realize that tears were running down my cheek until Ender wiped them away with his thumb. The doctor asked how long that had been happening and I told her the touching since I was 15 and the other since I was 18. I didn't want to talk about the torcher that he and that other warrior did to me, it was the worst memories I had. I heard growls and could feel the anger coming off Emmett and Ender and it made me want to disappear. I didn't do well with anger or violence after what I had been through and I'm not sure I will ever be able to get over it. Dr. Lowe had a sad look on her face and said, " Lillian I know this is difficult to talk about but you shouldn't keep all that pain inside it isn't healthy. I also think you have not been given much information about Mates or the things that happen after you find them. If you want we can talk about them before you leave today, just us girls ?"

She had a kind smile and I looked up through my eyelashes at my Mates and they gave me a small nod. The doctor gave me a smile, " Great, now Alphas before you leave lets go over what I found today. First the damage to her body will heal with time, I'm not sure why it hasn't yet since she is a wolf and we all heal fast. That leads me to my second find, she is malnutrition and from some of the background you gave me before the meeting she should be on a special diet for a few weeks to get her system to a normal level. I would say low fat diet with high fruits and vegetables, with plenty of meat to help with healing. I would also suggest increasing the amount of food you eat each day, so pick one meal a day to eat a little more. I understand at breakfast today you only eat the amount of a small child and this will make it difficult for you to get all the nutrition you need. It will be difficult at first to increase the amount you eat but you must do it. As for the other abuse that happened I would suggest Lillian you talk about it in your own time, it can be difficult to open up to new people but your Mates would never hurt you so you are the safes with them. Now Alphas if you would give me a few minutes alone with Lillian I would like to go over a few things with her before you leave. "

I watched the brothers leave the room with a last glance before looking bak over at the doctor. I didn't know what she wanted to talk about and I was a bit nervous after what we talked about here today. " Lillian there are some things that will start to happen to your body now that you have found your Mates and they are all normal. First let me ask, are you starting to feel different about the Alphas in any way? Do they make you feel a way you haven't noticed from anyone else?"

I thought about what she was asking and I thought back to the kisses they gave me, with a nod I said, "Yes I have told them more about myself that I have anyone else and faster than I would have though I could. Also earlier they both kissed me and it gave me a weird feeling in my stomach that I haven't felt before, but I got scared and then they were mad but apologized. I'm not sure why they were mad, maybe it was with me and how I reacted to what they were doing." I finished with a slight blush. 

"Lillian first I can tell you they were not mad at you, they were mad because they new something happened to you to make you react like that and so they were mad you were hurt. Second, that feeling you felt is called arousal and it happens when your Mates or someone else does something to turn you on sexually. Arousal is normal and there isn't anything wrong with it, Mates are made for there other half like a soul mate and so they can make there Mate aroused very easily. Since they were made for you, your body recognizes this and will become aroused more often. Now after we meet your Mate a she-wolf will go into what is called Heat, Heat is the time that a she-wolf if most fertile meaning can become pregnant easier. Now Heat can last different times for different she-wolfs also higher ranking she-wolfs uselessly have a longer Heat because they must produce a heir. Heat can be painful if a she-wolf does not have s*x with there Mate because the pull is very strong." She looks at me to see if I am understanding what she is saying and I nod for her to continue.

"Now there are some thing that will happen leading up to the Heat and during, first you will begin to find a safe place to do what's called nesting. Nesting is when a she-wolf finds a safe place to be with her Mates during her Heat, you will make it conferrable in your own way. Your Heat will start off slow, you will begin to feel very hot and lightheaded, then you well begin to become aroused and your Mates will smell your scent and they will gather items to keep you healthy during your Heat, such as food. They will not be able to leave you while in Heat and they will not be able to let other around you during it either. I know this all must seem very scary and overwhelming but I wanted to give you some information before it happened. Since you are not marked or mated yet with the Alphas your Heat will come quickly, once marked you should maybe only get your Heat two or three times a year but it will not be as bad as the first one. Do you have any questions or anything you want to go over before you leave today?'

My mind was racing with all the information she gave me, what if I'm not ready, what if I'm no good and my Mates don't want me, what if I'm to scared. My distress must have shown on my face because before I could ask anything the doctor said, " You have nothing to fear your Mates will be gentle with you and you will be all they have every wanted. It will hurt a little at first but then it will turn into the greatest pleasure, and when you are in Heat you will want to be with them just as much as they want to be with you."

I nod my head at what she is saying still not sure if it will be fine but having more hope it will be. I stand to grab my close to go back and change. The doctor tells me she will be outside, she needs to go over a few things with the Alphas before we leave. I get lost in my thoughts as I change into my close so I end up taking longer that before. I walk over to the door and step outside to see my Mates waiting for me by the door talking with the doctor. I can't help but wonder if they heard our conversation, but if they did they didn't show me. The doctor hands over a piece of paper to my Mates with my diet plan to give to the chef and turned back to me with a soft smile and told me to come see her whenever I wanted. I smile and nod before we walked away from the hospital and the only thought on my mind was when will my Heat come and will I be able to survive it.
