7. Introductions

Emmett's POV

After we left our room I couldn't stop thinking about my Queen and all she had been through, how this must all seem strange to her. After how our mother greeted her when we arrived, I was worried about how other would treat her, how the pack would see her. I knew my mother would be a bit uneasy with our Mate but I hoped that it wouldn't be to bad. She has a lot of pull with the pack and I'm concerned that she might use that influence to turn the pack against my Queen. I also thought about what Ender said and how he was worried about the amount of time she would need to fell safe with us. I didn't want to admit it to him while we were talking because I knew he was already nervous but I'm worried also, we don't know what was done to her. We make it outside and I take a deep breath to settle my nerves and look around at some of the pack members who are attending tonight. We invited a small group so that our Queen wouldn't be to worried about being around so many new wolfs, also with short notice we wanted to keep the group small. She will have time to meet the whole pack when she has her Luna ceremony but right now we just wanted her to meet a few members of the wolf council, family friends and some warriors that would be staying close to her from now on. 

We find our father talking with our Gamma Mathew and we walk over to them, they both nod at us as we approach them. Our father is the first to speak,

" Good evening sons, I wanted to apologies for how your mother reacted when you all arrived home. I'm sure Lillian will step into her own soon enough, have either of you told her about Sophie yet? I only ask because she is here with your mother."

I took a deep breath to calm my anger, how could my mother bring her here knowing it would cause nothing but trouble. I also begin to get nervous, how would my Queen take this news and would she be able to understand the reason behind it. So lost in my though I didn't hear that my father had stopped talking and that his and Mathews eyes we cast up toward the entrance to the back yard. I turn and see my Queen standing next to Fiona and my heart speeds up and a breath got caught in my throat. She was without a doubt the most beautiful creation I had ever laid eyes on. Her creamy white skin looked radiant against the blood red dress she was wearing, it almost looked like she was glowing. I would have to thank Fiona personally for buying the dress and encourage her to pick more like it when they went shopping tomorrow. The dress fit her just right, it hugged her curves in all the right places and I couldn't believe that she was our Mate. My eyes travel from her beautiful face that had light make-up and her wavy hair flowing down her back to her large firm t**s that looked like they were having trouble being contained by her thin straps of her dress. It hugged her thin waist and the top of her plump ass then flared out and stopped just below her knees. I was so focused on her that I didn't see Ender walk up to her until he turned around to make eye contact and I realized I hadn't moved from my stop. With a big smile on my face I walked up the steps to stand next to my Queen and was still so happy we found her. Now we just needed to make it through the rest of the night and hope she will still talk to us tomorrow. 

Lillian's POV

As we faced the group of wolves in the back yard my nerves died down a bit seeing the group was much smaller than I thought it would be. I looked over and saw Mathew and Evander again, Fiona had left my side when Ender walked up toward me and she was now standing next to Jamie. There were a lot of faces I didn't know but then my eyes landed on Isla standing off to the back of the small group. She was standing next to a younger female with blonde hair that was pulled up into a high ponytail, she had a face full of make-up that was well done. She had a small frame but was tone, smaller breasts and a tiny waist, she was wearing a short silver dress that had a low neck line that showed much of her skin. When my eyes met with hers she glared at me with so much hatred and disgust, I did even know this female but she already hated me and I'm not sure why. 

I wanted to shy away from this group of wolves and hide in my room but I knew that couldn't happen. With Ender holding one hand and Emmett the other, Ender began to address the small group,

"Thank you all for coming tonight to this small gathering to welcome our Mate and future Luna home. We couldn't be more happy to introduce you to our Mate Lillian, we met Lillian when we were at River Stone pack during our Alpha meeting. From her insight during the meeting we are more than confident that she will make a wonderful Luna to Blood Moon pack. Now please enjoy the refreshments and company."

After Ender finished speaking both my Alphas began to walk down the steps still holding my hands and leading me to meet a few males. I was unsure as to who these males where but followed without comment. We reach a group of four males that were all built as big as a house, one had blonde hair and blue eyes while the other three had darker features. As we approached they all bowed and greeted my Alphas with respect. Emmett looked to me with a bit of worry in his eyes,

"My Queen, these four males are our strongest warriors in our pack. They have all volunteer to be your Luna guards, your protectors and will help with anything you may need when we are not with you. Let me introduce you to your lead guard (pointing toward the blonde male) this is Kane, he will be in charge of your protection and the rest of your guards. This is Sam, Alec, and Jace, they will go with you every where you go and be responsible for you when we are not with you." Kane is the one to step forward and bow to me,

"My Luna, we are honored to be your guards. We have been training for this responsibility since we were pups. We pledge to give our lives in the protection of yours, this is the highest honor among our kind for everyone knows that a Luna is the one who holds a pack together. You are the heart of our pack, the heart of our Alphas and without the heart the pack cannot live. At any time you may address any of us but as Alpha said I am the lead guard and will give direction to the others."

I could not believe this, I had never seen any Luna guards at River Stone and didn't understand why I had them now. I also didn't know how I felt about being with these four males, I don't do well being around other. For a moment I stand there looking at all four of my new guards before I realize they are waiting for me to say something.  

" Thank you Kane, Sam, Alec and Jace, I was not expecting a Luna guard for there wasn't one at River Stone. It may take me some time before I get comfortable around you, I don't do well around other." Kane has a warm smile on his face when he replies,

" I understand Luna, please just let us know if there is anything we can do to make you feel more comfortable. Also we follow the old ways that is why we still have the Luna guards, it was a practice from the older days and we pride ourselves on staying true to Werewolves and the Moon Goddess traditions. Not many packs still follow the old ways."

After he finished talking I realized that there was a lot I didn't know and then I remembered why. I didn't want to think of those things now, I needed to push them from my mind at least until after the bonfire. Emmett looks over to me and kisses my hand,

" My Queen, your guards will start tomorrow but for now we will walk around and have nice evening. I suggest we sit for a bit and have some dinner , it has been a long day and the doctor said that you needed to eat plenty of meat to recover faster."

They led me to a table before asking a server to bring us our meals. When the food is brought over the smell instantly makes my mouth water, I have never had a meal that looked this good. There was a large steak, potatoes and some vegtubalaes, there were rolls and salad and the table looked so nice. For a moment I just sat there and looked around while everyone else started to eat. Along with us, Jamie and his Mate Fiona, Mathew and Kane sat with us. They all started to eat as soon as the food was placed in front of them, Fiona looked up and saw that I was just sitting there. She c****d her head to the side before saying,

" Lillian why aren't you eating? Is there something wrong with the food?"

" Oh no Fiona everything is fine, I just haven't had a meal that looked this good before." 

With a chuckle she replies, " Its just steak Lillian, nothing to fancy."

I couldn't help the sting I felt with her words, to her and everyone else here this was normal,

" I've never had steak before, I was only ever allowed to have left overs from any meal and most of the time there weren't any. If by chance there were others would throw it away so that I couldn't have it." I said with a shy voice

" Wow Lillian you can't be serious! Stop joking" She says with a chuckle again

I cower in on myself, she thinks I'm joking, she doesn't believe me, why did I think this place would be different. I bow my head and place my hands in my lap when I feel Emmett reach for them. I try not to flinch away but I can't help it, I never feel safe and being around all these wolves isn't helping. Emmett clears his throat, 

" My Queen its ok, with ti" before he can finish his sentence he is cut off by none other than Isla and the mystery blonde.

" Emmett, Ender I hope you don't mind that I invited Sophie. We were talking this afternoon and she wasn't aware that you were coming back early and I was happy to inform her of the good news. As to why you wouldn't call you fiancée is beyond me, but no trouble she's here now." She smirks at me with the last statement and I feel hurt and ashamed that I allowed myself to have hope. I hear Ender growl and it makes me jump and I stumble out of my seat. Lowering my head toward the blonde female I apologies in a soft voice and turn and run into the house as tears stream down my face. I make it to my room and can't wait to take this dress off, who am I to wear something so nice when I'm nothing. I see my close folded on the bed and I walk over and put on my soft black pants and old worn shirt that used to be a young male who grow out of it. I remember finding it in the trash one day when I was cleaning the pack house, then Isla words from earlier flow through my head and I realize she's right I am trash. How could I think that both these Greek Gods would not already be with someone and that they would want to be with trash like me when they had that beautiful blonde. I slide to the floor in front of the bed and curl into a ball and let the tears fall down my cheeks as my hope for a happier life fade away. I will need to think of where to go from here, will they make me clean like Alpha Malcolm did or will they just make me a Rogue. Before I knew it exhaustion took over and I fell into darkness.
