“Oh my god. I'm so sorry” I exclaimed as I gaped at the mess I made.
I stood up and wiped his face with my fingertips. Truth be told, I was holding back my laughter. He looked so confused by my reaction that he looked like a child that got tricked.
"Something just got caught in my throat" I lied through my teeth.
I walked over to the basin and wet a piece of cloth before handing it over to him. He smiled and took the cloth to wipe his face.
"So, you want to go get the cards done?" he hesitated, "I thought it will get our parents off our backs for a while" he ended.
Of course. Should have known. This was not because he wanted to spend time with me. He just wanted to put on a facade so that his parents won't suspect anything.
