Behind the bridge of power

The bright sunlight shines in my face, why its always happening to me. Groaning i get up from bed, well if im already up it’s really no point going back to bed. I look around my room, wall light blue, king size bed with at least 10 pillows on it, well since my fuzzy sleeping half of them now is on the floor. Dad says i sleep like a star. Its your ordinary overdramatized room of rich kid. I go to the huge window wich overlooks the lake next to our house if you can call it a house, its deam huge. For my opinion its mansion. I go to the pong window still sun coming up and go out to of my window. I step out of it on the roof of the house. I sit down and watch the sun coming up making beautiful colours shine in the watter of the lake. One little slip of my feet and i would fall down to the ground from second floor of the house, but i done it so many time, the best part of this is i done it to sneak out of the house. I can get down from this froom by the big huge oak tree which been growing there for ages. I done it so many time that i can do with closed eyes. Its still to early but sun is almost up that means need to get up get ready, before dad start complaining about me not coming on time for breakfast. Why always everything needs to be perfect for him. I groan and get my a*s up. Taking long shower and going in my double door to get dressed. I choose oversized mans shirt which i stole from my brothers closed and nike running short. I alredy know my dad going to complain about how i look. But why should i care, after breakfast im going for a run anyway. I walk down the stairs to the dining room, “Morning everyone” , everyone as usual sitting in their place. Dad in the far end of the table “ What are you wearing again Leila, its breakfast and your last day of school i teach you maners and you need to show the best of you. You are my princess, but it doesn’t mean you can walk around like a homeless.” I go up to ded kissing him on the cheek “im going for my morning run father, I’ve told you many time i like to run before getting ready for school sir.” I walk next to my mother on my dads right hand she is sitting in beautiful sundress lookig flawless like usual. With her light brown hair and the bluest eyes which mirror mine. “Morning sweetheart”. On dad’s left hand sits my older brother by two minutes. I take a seat next to him. In front of me sitting my 10 years old brother. Maids start bringing the food. “Is that my shirt you wearing sis” my brother Liam asked. “Im not shure what you talking about” i say with smirk on my lips. Dad clears his throat “ I have some important news to everyone one. For tomorrow dinner we are having guests coming. Everyone need to be on their best behavior, we will be discussing the merger berween our companies. And the big conditions and which will affect us differently. Leila i need to see you in my office after breakfast.” Liam turns his head with huge shock on his face to father“ what it has to do with Leila father?” “I understand your concern son, but first i need to discuss the matters with Leila before disclosing anything to you guys” “But father..,” “Enaugh Liam, i said my world boy. Sit and eat, than go get ready for school.” I grab Liams hand holding it in place, taking sip of my coffee before returning my gaze to father “ can i be excused father? I will go for my morning run and will meet you in 30 in your office if you don’t mind.” “No of course not dear, please be on time so you are not late for school afterwards.” Taking my leave I exit the huge house and take my way my usual rutine around the lake it takes me 30 min to run in full speed to come back home. Im completely covered in sweat as i start my way up to fathers office. I stand outside huge double wooden door and knock twice befere i hear his words “ enter”. “Sit down princess i have matter to discuss, well more i have to tell you there is no place really for discussion.” I do as told, sit in front of his huge desk in one of the two chairs. “ as you know darling, we had few struggles on the way were we are now, i needed to have some help and now they are back for payment. You see its in best of all our interests, the decision is made. As i said at the breakfast table we are having merge between our company and one of the biggest rivals.” “But father what does it have to do with me?” “As i was saying if you would let me finish, for us to be able to merge and have an equal say were are not only merging the company, but our family as well. You are to be married in three months with the man himself.” I raise fast from the chair it falling backwards from my sudden movement “No father im not going to marry anyone, not a sranger at least. I have a life and i have a boyfriend.” “Sit down child, its been done, your introduction with him will hapen tomorrow at the dinner. Mr. Black will so happen had a liking on you so this in not for discussion.” And thats how i first time in my life turned my back to father storming out of his office.
