Chapter 10
We get all the way to the top floor me still giggling and Val has this huge smile on his face as he watches me. The top of the stairs is open into a nice sitting room with a hallway going both directions, one to the left and one to the right.
“To the left here.” Val starts as he pulls me in that direction. “We have two offices, one for the king and one for the queen.” He says as he points them out as we stop in the hallway with two doors side by side.
“Then there are 4 bedrooms at the end of this hall. One of them was mine as I was growing up. It has been empty and has been set as a guest room for years now. Then back this way is my parents suite. I’m sure my mother will show you the suite and her office when you start your lessons tomorrow.” He says with a smile stopping i
