Chapter 11
I follow Val silently into the office. I look around and notice that the room is dark and bare, nothing personal is in here. The seating, is just a few wooden chairs in front of his desk. Nothing comfortable in this space. It looks sad.
Val encourages me to sit, so I do. Val takes a seat next to me.
“Well since you are both here. I will let the two of you know, Your mother and I have started to plan your mating ceremony. It will be done on, Dec 24. Once you are a mated pair your training will intensify to be sure you are able to take over for your mother and I.” He says as he looks between us.
“But that’s Christmas Eve.” I say quickly.
