I had a mess I needed to clean up and I didn't know if it was even going to be possible.
Pen was scared of me. So scared and even when I tried to explain to her that I wouldn't hurt her, she still cowered away from me, holding her hands up over her head to get as far away from me as possible.
I didn't leave immediately. I couldn't. I had to explain to her what she had seen but I knew that it was impossible to tell her yet. So I sat on her bed after I got dressed and gave her her clothes and told her that no, I wasn't human. Atleast not entirely. And that I could tell her what I was after I got permission.
