I still hadn't heard from Pen and it was driving me insane. I would remedy that soon, but I had to talk to Jocelyn first. Face to face, I had to tell her everything and hope she didn't kick me in the balls for using her.
But she needed to know so that she could tell Pen for me and no one would get into trouble. I would take the fall for her if Matt found out what she did, but it wouldn't technically be the Council's jurisdiction for dealing with it.
The drive to Jocelyn's was quiet. Wes was playing his hand held video game and Elena was texting Matt and making sure he was going to be away for a while still.
