Pen I grinned and hugged Francis, Chandler's mother, tightly, finally glad to be getting away from our after church lunch. Chandler hugged his mother afterwards and then placed a large hand on the small of my back. He led me back to his car, his fake smile plastered on his handsome face until we got in. "That was unacceptable." He snapped at me, his mask falling, revealing the man I knew to be my husband. His eyes were dark and his lip pulled into a sneer as I buckled myself up. "What are you talking about?" I asked him, trying to think of every little thing I said or did. I couldn't think of a single thing and I raised my eyebrows at him.
