Chapter 1: The First Glimpse
Thorian was just another scholarship student at Lythos Academy, a school for the rich and elite. But when his eyes landed on Zephyra in the crowded cafeteria, everything changed. She was standing by the drink counter, her beauty taking his breath away. It was like the world stopped moving as he stared at her.
Unable to ignore his feelings, Thorian began writing letters to Zephyra, pouring his heart into each one. Secretly, he slipped them into her locker, too shy to speak directly. To his surprise, Zephyra started responding. Her letters were thoughtful, warm, and filled with kindness. Slowly, their bond grew.
During their breaks, they found a quiet spot by a large oak tree on campus, where they would sit together and talk about everything. It was their place, where they felt safe and connected. As the days passed, their friendship deepened, and promises were made.
Under the shade of the tree, Thorian looked at Zephyra and said, “When we grow up, we’ll be together. I promise.” Zephyra smiled, her eyes shining. “I promise too.”
But neither knew how life would change once distance—and challenges—began to pull them apart.
