I’ll be with you forever

To give you a nice timeframe I need to take you back 16 years when John my best friend and me came home from the hospital we lived next door to each other and our mom were best friends we seen each other everyday one day when we were both 4 we were playing out side in johns backyard when he looked at me with his pinky out and told me “Promise me that we will be too forever” “ I promise you” And with that I took his pinky in mine and from that day on we was together now to where we are today we started high school a year ago but since then John has stopped hanging out with me and every time I see him he’s with a different girl I would ask him about it and he would always say “Baby you know I love you nothing is happening with anyone else” With that I would drop it and we would go to the treehouse in his backyard we hang out there every day after school since we started school it’s just become our place Something about this time was different he didn’t sound like he cared this time he has started acting like the bad boy he skips class drinks and smoking he is definitely not the man I fell I love with he changed
