Chapter One
August Roman
We won the game.
My teammates cheered loudly behind me, but frankly, I wasn't in the celbratory mood. I never was.
Hockey hasn't been in my heart for years now.
Not since her.
Fuckkk. Clear your head, you sissy.
Luis came over, slapping me on the back hard, causing me to grunt.
"You daydreaming, my man?"
I shook him off. "Get your weasel hands off of me."
He shook his head in a laugh, skipping a few steps and opening the door like a f*****g chauffer and bowing his head. His hand resting on his abdomen. "For you, my princess." I rolled my eyes, as dramatically as humanly possible, and shoved him into the restraunt. Diner. A diner looking like it crawled out of an 80's movie. Red and white everywhere.
I cringed. "This is the big place you chose?" The other players shoved past us, clearly not caring about the restraunt. More intrested in if they serve booze.
"It's not that bad. Lighten up. Maybe you'll find some pretty pussy."
I almost cringed at his use of words, before shoving him away again. "Personal space, Luis."
"Oh. Right."
We made our way to a large table that has already been chosen- probably by Samual- and sat quickly. "Let's hurry the f**k up." Usually we go to a party after a big game, but coach had called the place ahead of time. Probably so we wouldn't drink. Making it highly unlikely they surved booze here. Even the light kind.
Coach did not want us anywhere near alcohol.
in an instant, the hairs on the back of my neck snap up, my posture following. My neck was stiff as I glanced around, and eerie feeling clenching around my body.
My eyes meet with narrowed blue ones. My heart slowed.
What.The.Fuck.
Her arms were crossed in front of her chest, and her lips were thinned.
She looked f*****g pissed.
But that wasn't my main concern. My main concern was the random girl glaring at me looked exactly like her. Olivia. f*****g Olivia.
But her eyes were different. No. Olivia's eyes were a bit lighter. After a couple seconds I could pick out some differences.
I shook my head a little.
Why the f**k was she glaring at me? The f**k did I do to piss her off?
I've never seen this woman in my life.
My gaze traveled to the girl sitting across from her. Shaking her head in my direction, yet eyes trailed downwards. A slight blush on her cheeks. She looked a tad familiar. But I didn't befriend women. I only interacted with them for-
Shit.
