We were both panting hard when he dismounted me and I snuggled to him waiting for his knot to deflate.

How are you feeling cara mia? He asked through our bond.

He chuckled-growled and combed my fur by licking me. That was an intimate gesture for wolves. It was both for comfort and love. I snuggled my head to him and we heard a knock on the door. Dante growled low in warning and I knew that if anyone tried to enter, he would kill them.

"Alpha?" That was Luca's voice. What did he want?

His gaze focused again and he growled low making me shoot my gaze to him. He put his large head above mine and I heard the door of the room click open. Someone walked inside and laid papers on the table before getting out.

I looked up to Dante and he was still focused on the door to make sure that no one would enter.

What did he want baby? I asked.

Reports saying that Alejandro the crocodile has been seen.

Why is that? He asked dead serious.

I showed him what happened when I met him and how uncomfortable I felt while he kept my hand in his. Dante growled and stood up abruptly making me yip. He pulled me under his body as if he could hide me under him.

What is it Dante? I asked worried all of a sudden as I felt the intense rage drip from our bond.

He manifested interest in you and I can't have that. He growled.

We're mated now so there's nothing he can do.

Why did you keep him then? I asked worried now.
