Chapter Four

Lena rolls her eyes at her best friend who is squealing nonstop. Today is the freshers party.

The most of the seniors were going to attend the party. The two friends went to get their dresses the day before. They choose the same outfits but different colours. "Girl, you're going to have all the guys drooling", Mimi said. "Oh please", Lena rolled her eyes. "Shut up. Your body is a kill one. If I have your body shape trust me girl I'll not let people sons rest". "So now you know why your curves are small". "God knows me too well". Mimi is dark in colour with a shape that looks almost like the pear shaped and is very beautiful. Lena's looks on the other hand can even shame the word beauty. She has the looks that makes it difficult to look away from and her shape is a killer. The two girls finally decided leave. They were already thirty minutes late. "Hey girls", Joshua greets them with hugs.He is their new friend. "Hey Josh". They find a table and sit. "Have you been waiting for long?", Lena asked him. "No not really. I arrived twenty minutes ago", Joshua replied. The party was already in full swing. It was really fun but Lena wasn't really enjoying herself. She decided to take fresh air. "Erm guys excuse me. I'll be back in a jiffy", she said and walked out. "Hey", Lena turned and saw Ethan smiling at her. "Aren't you enjoying the party?", he asked her. "Not really", she answered. The two talked a lot and later exchanged contacts. Three days after the party, the seniors begun to prepare for their final exams. Those taking part in the practicals started first.

TWO MONTHS LATER

The seniors were now graduates. Most of the seniors were long gone home. The prefects were the only seniors still around. The had some few things to do before leaving. Ethan was still packing when he heard a knock. "Hey", he smiled when he saw it was Lena. "Sorry for bothering you", Lena apologized. "No it's okay. Please come inside", he ushered her into the room. "Mimi asked me to give this to you. She's not well so she couldn't come". "It's fine". The two stared at each other and broke into an awkward silence. "Mimi told me you will be going abroad". "Yes". "Okay so when are you going ". "Today. In a few hours actually". "Okay. I'll leave you to pack then. Save journey". Lena stood up to leave but Ethan holds her back and hugs her from behind. "Shhhh. Please let's stay like this for a while", Ethan begged when he felt her resistance. Lena relaxed. "I'm going to say something. Just listen carefully and then you can go. From the first day I saw you, I really liked you. Infact I was crushing on you. I gave you hints but I guess you didn't see them. Lena I know it's two early but I don't just like you. I love you. I won't ask for anything from you. Just be you. If I leave, I don't know when I'll return but if our paths cross again, I'd like you to be my wife".
