After careful consideration, he finally decided to start the story and go on with it, though he did have some fears that m*******l might not let him begin a new story when his previous ones were left unfinished, This was his fourth story, and so he naturally had some fears that they might think he was not serious or better still untalented.
But surprisingly, nothing of such happened which served to make him happier and more convinced that it was a sign that he was on the right path, one peculiar thing about Samuel was the way he always asked God for permission inwardly before performing any action he had thought well about.
In every human consciousness, There exist two voice guiding them through their path, This were voices from within that only the host individual could hear, A voice of Good, and A voice of evil. Legend said that the voice of good was God's voice, and the voice of evil was the devil's voice, it was said that they had managed to input a fraction of their voice or so in every human that lived with the use of immense power, Thereby providing an easier way to follow any of the paths they created. At this point, he didn't know which one it was exactly, he only knew it was from within him, maybe it was just his hallucinations or not, he didn't know, he only knew it was a voice of someone who did care, there was also this other voice that always seem to have something bad to say or at least a bad advice to render to him, This two voices were always connected to him and always seem to be there to render advice and their respective opinions to him.
The good one always there to caution him, and the bad one always there to tell him he was right even if everything spelled he was obviously wrong, if the good voice complemented with his views, he will go ahead, but if the voice didn't, he will try to bargain with the voice whether some adjustment can be made in other for him and the voice to complement, just like the legends, he always believed that the good voice was the voice of God while the second one was the voice of the devil
After communing with the good voice about the plan and both of them came to an agreement, he went ahead with his plan and registered the new novel, when it came to naming it, he didn't really know which name to go with, whether an extremely eye-catching name, Although the story did have a special trait which was reality being touched with only that part of fantasy that likely existed in real life, He couldn't think of any name that suited it special trait so he had to think of one that complemented with the main character.
At the end he decided to go for a much more simple name with a bit of captivating tone to it. An Untold Adventure, Just three words, but they seemed to carry a fascinating aura in them when in contrast with the story. He had this feeling that this name was going to boost the book to an unbelievable level. He might be a newbie in real story writing, with only having three failed stories in his authors collection, but he still knew how important the name of a novel was to the novel. It was just like movies, The more captivating the name is, the more willing you are to watch it.
After naming the story he proceeded to draft the first chapter, his main plan was to drop at least four chapters per day but of course it is always easy to plan but hard to carry out and so there were some days he wasn't really able to fulfill that plan.
In no time he had dropped his first four chapters, He was now into two main jobs, one was writing and the other was POS, though he really hoped his story could start earning him a stable and reasonable amount, so he would be able to be soon as he wasn't really okay with the POS job he was into.
Samuel sat on the chair still calling out POS to attract customers, hoping that someone who was interested in getting cash without having to go to the bank would notice him, but today seemed to be one of those bad days and so no one was really answering.
It was a Tuesday morning, and Tuesdays in Nigeria were really quite busy days where everybody goes to work and so almost no one have time to come and buy things from the market.
Only a few house wives and men whose jobs do not operate on Tuesdays or it wasn't compulsory for them to be available were the ones who came to patronise the traders in the market, market shops goods and services are known to be cheaper than home ones and so this was the main reason while people tend do go to purchase their goods more than they do at home, especially when they are buying in bulk.
After a bit of waiting and shouting POS, A customer finally came, An old woman, though without the use of walking stick, she could walk but then from the way she was walking you could easily tell that it took great resilience from her side to do it.
She walked over to Samuel why Samuel immediately stood up offering her his seat, He then asked her how much she would like to purchase, and then she replied 3000 naira, the lit glaze on Samuel eyes immediately receded and his face started struggling to maintain the smile, he had thought he had caught a big fish, but it ended up being a small fish which wasn't nice at all.
Doing 3k naira, you can only charge the person 100 naira which wasn't nice as when the pos collects it's own operation money, you will be left with only about 90 naira, How POS people made their money was the continuous stacking of such little money until it get big enough to be called an interest for today.
"Should I add the charges" He asked the woman, This was one of the professional questions POS workers had to ask as they were some troublesome people that could refuse to pay you if you didn't add the charge to the money you withdrew from their bank and they were also some who would start making a scene if you added the charge to the money withdrawn from their bank account.
After asking the old woman, the woman replied "add it" with an annoyed face, obviously it seems she wasn't really listening to his words and so he tried to ask again which only made the woman even more annoyed and start lashing out at him, He as usual snubbed the woman's words and proceeded with the transactions, He soon gave the woman the machine to input her pin so that they could finalise the transaction.
After imputing the pin, she proceeded to press the green button buy herself, She obviously was used to using the POS and so knew what to do and what not to.
