In the hallway, Tadgh grabbed the stone Gaia was holding and disappeared in the blink of an eye. Gaia gasped, “Wow, he was just as quick as Mother!”
Jo smiled at the little girl and put her down. “Is there anyone at all I can contact for you? I’m sure Ciaran would let them stay in the residence.”
Gaia shook her head. “For security reasons, I’ll stay in the residence by myself until after Ciaran’s coronation.”
“I don’t think Ciaran will let you do that.”
“I’m eight, you know.”
“That’s my point. You’re too young to be by yourself.”
