Mayhem in Nimron

After his encounter with James and how he had managed to barely escape his wrath and rage, Jack was never again seen in Nimron. He barnished himself from the town and went in search wherever it may be. He was so ashamed and had never felt so powerless and insignificant the way he felt when it came to James and he hated every bit of it. He wanted to remain an important personality in kings and Queens college but that had become very difficult considering the fact that he had lost his place as the champion in the track events and he more than badly wanted all of that back. He had gone from one sorcerer to another and one demonic house to another in search of power until he came to Zina who promised him all he ever wanted and immortality. Jack wanted to be a creature with an immense power and capable of destroying James or mounting a greater pressure.

“ I shall make you into one of the most powerful creature to ever grace the face of the Earth, Flawless in all ramifications and insurmountable. I shall make you into a Nogitsune , you shall have the spirit of the void kitsune, the demon fox and no adversary shall be insuperable before you.” Zina assured Jack. Surely she was not all about bragging, Zina was known for her sophisticated sorcery practices that she was regarded as the greatest sorceress of all time. Her works are mostly incomprehensible. Jack was so excited that at last he had come to the end of his search and quest for power. It happened that Zina invoked the demon fox into Jack something that would have normally killed any human or creature but because not how strong willed Jack was , the ritual was very successful and he was born a new creature overwhelmed with his latest asset that he kept on shooting fire balls and flying into air.

Jack had returned to Nimron, overwhelmed by his power began to cause chaos and mayhem around the town. He would enter into a public gathering and attack innocent citizens, putting fire on private and government properties. He didn’t care who his actions were affecting or who got killed in the process. He did all of this to get the attention of James and let him know that he had acquired his own power , one which was greater than the one he had.

James have not been able to solve the problem with the berserkers in town and now a greater adversary one who would stop at nothing to have him dead had risen. James remained silent as he didn’t want to openly confront him to prevent any more casualties than the one he has already caused so he challenged him in a confined environment. There were another twin Kitsunes in Kings and Queens college but she he had been living in secrecy. They had not discovered their kitsune powers as they were born kitsune but the parents denounced the power and traded their tails just to live as Normal human with hope that their children would be Normal humans too. Everything worked as they had anticipated until the night Jack attacked Kings and Queens college and was shooting fire balls and thunder here and there. The students were running Helter skelter and the Police department was alerted. Jack was shooting fire from his fists like it was nothing and he made a mess of the police and their vehicles. So many police officers were enjoyed and while others were burnt alive.

“ I want the Zolok! Give me the Zolok or I'll rain fire and brimstones on every one here” Jack threatened.

James was present in school but could no longer watch Jack terrorize the whole school without anyone doing anything about it. James immediately evolved into the Zolok and decided to stop the out of control kitsune. James roared as he evolved, and this time he called on the wolves and the vampires to fight alongside him. The wolves had no option than to answer his call because the roar was bound to control and manipulate the creatures into doing his will. He was mind controlling both creatures to fight James but they were no match for his rage and ferocity. The twin Kitsunes were stuck in the classroom when all these started and James was running to save them before Jack gets to them but he was too late as Jack blasted the room with lightening that electrocuted the two kids, James was terribly offended that he came upon the Nogitsune with rage, they both exchanged powerful traits and attacks and the whole college was thrown in a great state of turmoil. The police has disengaged shooting the moment James evolved and challenged James. Just then, the two kids, Aiden and Auden rose up and their kitsune powers had been unleashed. Just like every other kitsune who didn’t need any practice to master combat, they both decided to fight alongside James and they heavily descended on Jack who at this time had grown so ferocious and had flown right into the air where he launched his strikes against his adversaries. The twin Kitsunes could do almost half the things Jack could do, the attack on Jack was so much that he fled.

“This is no over yet, James” Jack said as he vanished with a speed of lightening after leaving a great mess at the school.

“ I’ll be waiting” James replied as he tries to get back into his normal form but immediately realized he was in public so he ran into one of the buildings but no one saw him come out again as he had gone out though the back. Before Dawn the videos of the fight between James, the werewolves, vampires and Kitsunes was all over the news. It was captioned ' supernatural outbreak' and had begun to reconsider their earlier position non the cohabitation of these supernatural species in the country. They began to see their existence among them as dangerous and in less than no time, might wipe them all out.

“ Over the years, we found a way to cohabitate with these supernatural species of different kinds but the recent happenings and occurrences just like what happened tonight has shown us that an animal will always be an animal no matter how long or well you tame it. And it’s only a matter of time before they join forces and obliterate us from the surface of the Earth so we might want to reconsider their positions in out society now rather than later. I assure you that we will always have the interest of the good people of Nimron at heart and protect each and everyone of its citizens at all costs. God bless Nimron!” The mayor of the town had just addressed the people of Nimron in other to reduce the fear and anxiety which they and their children have suffered and assured them he was doing everything possible to strengthen the securities of the town against any possible future outbreaks of such.

Danny was very proud to see what his friend did and how he stood against Jack and wished he could do something better than just follow him around. No other students knew that the Challenger was James McCall. Danny was not academically bright but he was a kid with bright ideas and useful solutions to difficult situations. How he was always able to find his way in difficult situations is a thing to behold. The next day, he resumed for school and the first thing he said was how proud he was to be James friend.

“I saw what you did last night. Dude, you’re mesmerizing. Any idea what that creature was?” Danny asked James.

“ That’s an evil kitsune. It has a demon in him which alters his affections and makes him evil. I think it’s Jack, I don’t know what he’s been getting himself involved with but it’s something we should be worried about” James said to Danny.

“ I think you guys were able to hold him off. That reminds me, where are the other two badasses that fought alongside you. I was actually thinking if we had any real chances of fighting against evil creatures, we’ll be needing more help like the one you had last night from those kids. By the way, any idea who they are? Danny asked James.

“ I saw them just before they got struck by that lightening and afterwards I lost it and was pretty much occupied with the fight against Jack. I couldn’t quite place their faces. Can you play back that video, maybe we could identify them and convince them to join our team. James said. Danny played the video over and over again and they were able to identify the kids. They were the Santiago’s inseparable twins. Aiden and Auden Santiago were new to the school. Their parents had just been transferred to Nimron from the Japanese company n here their father worked. They had to move with their parents as it was a permanent transfer. Their father Santiago was a Mexican architect and had lived almost his youthful years in Japan with the company he worked with where he met their mother, Hotaru. Hotaru saved Santiago from a crossfire when bandits invaded their and she single handedly neutralized the threat and got everyone to safety. She was one of the oldest and powerful Kitsunes and had lived several hundreds of years. She often claimed to have acquired upto 9 tails due to her longevity but traded all her tails for a Normal because of the love he had for Santiago. She felt that all the power was making her superior to her husband and wanted to get rid of the mindset of inferiority complex from Santiago who always felt she was better at everything. She knew that her kids were Kitsunes but hoped that they got to know about it or activate their powers. But after the incidence at school the other night, the kids had been excited with their powers and Hotaru had no other choice than to guide them and help them master their powers. James and Danny had approached the twins in an attempt to recruit them to share the same vision of fighting evil occurrences in the town.

“Hello , I’m Danny and this is my friend James. Actually we’ve come to share with you out vision and hope you buy into the idea of joining us and making this town a safer place for all of us. Actually, we saw what you both did the other night at school and thought that you could join our team in fighting such things that trouble our town. What you guys did that night was amazing!” Danny said as he waited for their reply.

“ so what can you both do?” Auden asked Danny.

“Actually, my friend here was the big guy. You know, the one that was fighting that beast.” Danny said.

“ Oh! I love that beast form, You were badass. What are you called?.” Aiden asked.

“Zolok!” James replied.

“wow, cool name.” Aiden said.

“ And what about you?” Auden asked Danny. He was mute for a few seconds before James interrupted.

“ Actually Danny here is a guy with a brilliant mind and a strategist. This is not actually about individual traits or ambitions, it’s rather about using our gifts to protect the citizens of this town. We all saw what happened the other night and if it weren’t for both of you and few other persona who summoned the courage to stand by me, the story would have ended differently. So I indulge you both to Join us to make this town safe because there are a lot of evil out there and these kinds of things are not what the Police can handle.” James explained to the twins.

“ Okay, big guy. We’re in!” Aiden said as his twin brother shoved him.

“What? …relax bro, let’s go kick some ass!” Aiden said to Auden.

“So when do we start?” Auden asked.

“Actually, we have a place we can be holding any crucial meetings in case there are any matters to discuss. We rather choose to operate secretly and not be in the spotlights or let anyone know what we’re doing. I suggest that way, we’ll be more efficient. Please, we have to work as a team , by so doing we can achieve greater goals.” James said to all of them.
