Sean had locked McCall, Maya and Neemah up until they could open up on where the Oblisk was hidden. As far as he was concerned, that was the only thing that mattered. He strung McCall up and commanded his men to bear the answer out of him but he was resilient and showed no sign of ever cooperating with them. This angered Sean so much that he had to bring Neemah and threatened to kill her if he didn't speak up.

"leave her out of this. Don't you have a single remorse?. She's with child and you're hurting." McCall shouted at Sean who was already dragging Neemah like maid.

"Just so you know, I don't about her, her child or any of you perverts. All that matters to me is the oblisk and the sooner you tell me where you've hidden, the sooner you get to leave her in one piece. Sean replied as he gets Neemah on her long hair.

"I cannot give you the Oblisk because I don't have it anymore" Sean answered as he was eager to be cooperative to avoid losing any of his friend

"If you don't have it, who does? Sean asked McCall irritated.

"It's in me, I swallowed it" McCall answered.

"very well then , what are you waiting for , do you need some water to wash it down" Sean said with a tone of sarcasm in his voice.

"I can't get it out, it has formed a part of me. where do you think my newly acquired strength and features come from?". McCall said maintaining every bit of seriousness about what he was saying.

"If you think I left all in doing to be entertained by some child's play, well think again. Maybe all you need is some action to recondition your sense of reasoning and maybe get you to understand the implications of joking with me." Sean said looking very much irritated as he waved for then to being the 2 ladies to him.

"I swallowed the Oblisk when your men attacked me and tried to take it from me. I didn't want it getting into their hands. please, let her go. I'm saying the truth. Sean said almost shouting to let him understand how serious he was.

"Very well then, I'll cut you open instead" Sean replied as he moved closer to McCall who was already exhausted from struggling with chains where he was hung. Sean commanded his men to strap him on the table and cut him open. just as he was about cutting him open, there was noise outside the gate and the operation was suspended to attend to the interruption. It was Dax and his vampire men, News Came to him that the people had been apprehend along with a vampire woman in the person if Neemah who he was told Sean was going to execute. Despite his alliance with Sean to apprehend his targets, Dax has never shared his motives of handling issues and his tyranny. One thing he was trying to avoid was Help Sean to kill any more innocent people in his quest for power not to talk of letting him kill a fellow vampire.

"To what do I owe this warm visit my friend?" Sean asked Dax as he and his men entered the gates.

"I heard the people you seek after have been apprehended and I just came to see them Dax replied as he got down from his car.

"In that case you're welcome as always" Sean replied with forced smile as he gestured Dax and his men into his mansion.

" Our Alliance can finally be signed now that you have what you've been looking for." Dax asked Sean.

"The Oblisk is not yet retrieved, they wouldn't tell me where they hid it" Sean said as he looked so frustrated and bittered.

"What is so special about this Oblisk?. In all the years Michael led the wolf pack as the alpha, he never got obsessed with it. why does it seem so different with you like you can't live without it" Dax asked as he looked so concerned about his friend who was acting like he's lost it all.

"I'll so much appreciate it if you could leave wolf matters to the wolves and be more concerned on how to protect your kind because If the Oblisk is not retrieved , there'll be no alliance or peace between us. Sean told he Dax as he walked out on him towards the strong room where he kept the prisoners.

"I think it's high time I showed you people how serious I am" Sean said as he brought out a sword and raised it to strike McCall, Dax came in a flash and kicked away the sword prompting Sean to roar angrily in his beast like voice.

"I actually came to tell you that this madness had got to stop. If you s*******r everyone, who is going to enjoy the peace and unity we're fighting to establish. Dax said to Sean.

" Who says any of these is about some stupid peace and unity. There's never gonna be any form of alliance between our kinds. The warewolves will remain the superior creatures and control everything over the vampires. If you really want that peace, then get that into your skull." Sean angrily exposed his motives as he didn't see any reason to keep pretending all this while even when he was in his own territory. He could easily my overpower Dax and his men because he had a greater number of people on his side .

"I don't care what you or anyone thinks about me but I must have that Oblisk today even if I have to sacrifice the entire universe to achieve that. Vampire or warewolves no sacrifice is too big for my quest". Sean continued to tell Dax with a tone of increasing anger in his voice.

Just then Sean made a second attempt to strike McCall who had been silent watching the whole drama but was again interrupted by Dax. They both got involved in a very frightful brawl and fought till they got outside. The fight was so much and entertaining that everyone stood watching them but Sean was more powerful and inflicted so much injuries on Dax that the vampires had to engage in the fight but they were overpowered and slaughtered. just as the fight was going on, Neemah was able to break free and untied McCall and Maya and they ran into the woods from the back. Dax was finally subdued and he was strapped to a rope helplessly. As Sean called for the prisoners to be brought out so he could execute all of them at once, he was told they had escaped. This angered him so much that he ripped off Dad's head and was breathing heavily in anger.

"I want those rascals immediately. get me their heads"

Sean commanded his men who took off in search of the prisoners immediately.

McCall and the two ladies had to run as far as they could to where they could be safe. They tried to make it to Nimron where their safety could be guaranteed but because of Neemah's condition, they were slow and the chances of making it to Nimron seemed so little. McCall had to create a distraction with himself in other to grant the women the opportunity of survival. McCall took off in an opposite direction and lured the wolves to where he was and decided to challange all of them. They were more than fifteen warewolves who came at McCall all at once. McCall was so dangerous because he was fighting for his life and he overpowered all of them even when he couldn't stand to his feet because he had been badly injured. Sean had to come by himself to finish him off, just then, Neemah looked behind and burst into tears. she wanted to go back tomorrow get McCall but Maya stopped her and dragged her into Nimron as they shouted for help at the gate.

Sean got to where McCall was who could barely understand what was going on around him due to the kind of condition he was into.

"you can take my life and do whatever pleases you, but you can never have one thing. True love!" McCall said as he knelt helplessly on the floor.

"Love is for the weak. Love brought your downfall" Sean replied as he drew closer to him.

"Love saved me and made me what I am" McCall said as he smiled helplessly before his executioner.

Sean stroke him through the chest and reached out for his heart, immediately he plucked it out and McCall fell cold to the floor. He had given his life to save Neemah and his unborn child. He was proud that he could save his unborn child, that way his legacy would be preserved. There were few warewolves who were wriggling in pain on the floor and they were calling for help. Most of them had a broken arm or limb.

"Master, please help us!" They called out for Sean to help who looked at them like he was looking at a failed investment. He came close and twisted their necks in turn breaking the necks in the process. He didn't feel any single remorse as he did this.

He ordered the rest of his men who were alive to go after Neemah and Maya who had already entered Nimron. He was furious that he didn't get them but vowed to stop at nothing till he takes out every last one of them even if he had to go to war with the people of Nimron which was a town every supernatural being was afraid of . Nimron had a government who knows how to protect its own against the supernatural beings and they had rules to cohabitate with them but no tolerance for any form of violence. If Sean was to get his targets, it simply meant he would go against every rule abs regulations of the government of Nimron and at the same time put every of other creature not just the wolves at risk.

Meanwhile the news of the m******e which Sean and the wolves had done got to the vampire elders and this angered them so much that they sought after war and revenge of the death of Dax and other victims.
