That question nearly knocked air out of my lungs. I have never even thought about it, absence of Nate in kids’ life is the reason I kept my last name but never gave it much of a thought. I don’t like the way she was being hostile to me but I guess it is about time. Everyone’s attention on the table was on me and I don’t know how to answer that. I was about say something but Nate beat me to it.
