I saw Nate getting up to receive a call. He was talking in a muffled voice, that doesn’t look good. He returned back to have dinner and pretended like nothing happened but I could see the worry behind his façade. He kissed good night to the kids but there was worry and anger on his face. He definitely masked it in front of the kids and happily told them their bed time story. As soon as we left the kids’ room, I asked him, “Nate, who was it on the phone? What happened?” He was shocked that I found out his act. “I… no one. Liv everything is fine.” I narrowed my eyes at him. “Try that with someone who doesn’t know you.
