HIS OTHER HALF

Asher stares at his reflection with a mixture of confusion and guilt. After the incident of his brothers death,he had always hated his reflection, it reminded him of him The room was dark and the source of light was unknown,but even in the darkness Asher could still see his reflection signing in annoyance he stares at his feet, then back to the mirror stunned by his reflection mocking face, he realizes that it's not his reflection but his dead twin "Ashen..."he call quietly " it hasn't been too long I was gone has it?" He ask his face twisting into a creepy expression "it hasn't been long right?... right?... ASHER RIGHT!?!" he starts quietly but finally snaps annoyed "I'm sorry" Asher breaks down in tears, sobbing as he begs for forgiveness"I am so so sorry" "it must have a long time ago, because you stared at 'your reflection', for eternity and didn't even recognize me" Ashen frowns deeply at his sobbing twin "I hate you.....I hate that your comfortable while I wallow in hell alone,not that I'm complaining. but I hate it, and your the cause of it" "Ashen let's talk, do you want me dead to, I could......."Asher pause at his twins horrified expression " I can't believe how lowly you think of me!!!" he exclaims "I can't wish such a thing for you" his face sadden but suddenly he's face is wearing an evil smirk " Ashen.... Ashen......ASHEN WAIT....ASHEN I SAID WAIT" " Asher Asher hey......" Asher's eyes snap open breathing heavily and covered in sweats "Mandy...?" he calls the girl towering over his head "yeah...hey it's okay, your okay" Mandy says her voice soothing and comforting to the ear "it's getting worse" Asher mumble as the two friends sigh Ashen and Asher were a pair of identical twins, Ashen being the smarter and quite one, while Asher the total opposite but they got along well with each other and we everyone else, considering how social and approachable they were their highschool years was peaceful and almost too fun, they made friends, who some of them were posted to the same school while others in a far away place lucky the twins were posted to the same school Ashen studying psychology, and Asher Business they made friends easily and got along with basically everyone and anyone Asher had always been a wild and funny one, cracking jokes and acting like a clown, being a social and easy going person, it was during one of his funny moments in class that me meet Alexa, his current girlfriend At first they started off as friends which later developed into a relationship Ashen on the other was already in a relationship with a girl from middle school, Scarlett. Hailey and Ariana, are friends of Alexa, while Scarlett,Angela, Cole and Andrew were friends with the twins, Scarlett being Ashen girlfriend Mandy being Asher caring roommate Billie being Ashen course mate and Max her cousin All eleven friends stayed as a group and had fun together, going on holidays, road trips and joyrides it was on one of their adventures that Ashen got hit by a truck whose driver claimed that the break had failed when driving You couldn't fault anyone, Mr and Mrs Edward, the twins parent tried to find out any suspicion on the accident but found none,it didn't come as surprise when Ashen's death was announced, but it was still a great shock to everyone loosing a him in such an unexpected manner, Billie who had suggested the place for the road trip, felt it was fault, and was almost sent for a therapist section Asher on the other hand felt more shocked and beyond empty to loose His brother in such an unexpected event Scarlett fell ill and was sent to the hospital, the sickness got serious so she was sent to the mountains The Edwards felt the useless if money for the first time, considering the amount of wealth they acquired and owned After Ashen was buried, everyone went back to school and their various homes. At first, Asher couldn't sleep properly, the later he began to sleep soundly, maybe too well, then the nightmares, it was never intense Most of the times, the would sit and talk, sometimes joke,then they would argue, it felt Soo surreal.... horrifying almost,then one dream mare they argued and Asher woke up screaming, he couldn't recall the details of the dream but he remembered his brothers twisted angry face, seeming as though he was ready to kill him that dream felt different and ever since that night,that dream.... Asher's dream has always been filled with nightmares of his brother, always ending with that creepied face of ashen and him screaming. it was nothing at the beginning but it soon got worst and Asher unable to sleep peacefully, and soon sleep became hellish and dreadful for him, the more the nightmares, the more the days passed by, he felt suffocated and began to miss his insomnia days.....
