HIS OTHER HALF

CHAPTER FIVE. SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT🙁

TUESDAY

Asher stared muddle headed at his plate of toast, he couldn't figure out why or what was happening to him, but he was uncomfortable with the changes, though there is a slight comfort

“ hey bud" Mandy taps his shoulder gently

“ you've been staring at your breakfast for the past 45 minutes now, are you sure your okay"

“ yeah" Asher mumble in a whisper almost inaudible if Mandy wasn't beside

“ hey hey what's wrong wanna talk about it, promise I won't tell anymore " Asher sighs for the hundredth time since that morning

Every since his ordeal the order in the bathroom the other night his been feeling strange as though his body was being taken over by something ... or someone ... but what? who?, he sighed again feeling more helpless

it was beginning to wreck his nerve and the more he fight it, the more he felt it take more control, something wasn't right and he knew it

“ I just ... I don't know I don't feel to good" Mandy chuckles settling beside him on his bed

“ well you've been up since five in the morning, been staring at your breakfast since six and it's already past six ...well almost seven" she chuckles ‘‘ wanna tell me what's wrong, your getting us all so worried" Mandy says her voice softening

“ I don't really know okay ... it's just" Asher sighs his hand moving through his hair“ I feel like ... I feel like something is gonna happen I just don't know how ...it feels so wirde I just can't put my fingers on it"

“ well ... that's what we're here for, were your friends right? ...how about I take you to hospital for a checkup, class is starting in an hour or so but we could take day off"

Asher stares stunned at Mandy

" why are you caring?" he ask his face tilting in confusion

Mandy laugh at the boy confused state

“ I just wanna sure you're fine"

“ I don't think I'm sick anyways"

“ not necessarily but ... but " Mandy chuckles amused at Asher “ we have to, you have to be sick to get a checkup, just test and that's all"

“ I still don't want to go, I'm just stay here and get ready for class"

“ Asher" Mandy calls Softly

“ fine " Asher finally agrees after a minute of contaplating

Asher grumbles in annoyance at Mandy constant chattering with the doctor concerning his health status

the doctor office had a separate bed for checkups with a mint blue curtain separating the room

“ it'snt that enough now mandy, I'm tired and need to go to class"

Asher watch the two women exchange glances

“ well ...I don't think there's a problem ..."

the two women continue with there ‘secret' glances

“ WHAT" Asher finally snaps annoyed with his friend and roommate and the middle aged doctor

“ there's nothing wrong with you ..." the doctor start clearing her throat

“ you know what" Asher ask raising his hands up in a surrender motion “ I don't wanna hear it, come on mandy I going back home, he says standard up from the hospital bed and making his way out of the doctor's office

“ Ash ... Ash ... Asher jezz can you wait up, there's no need for you to be mad I'm just looking after you" Mandy calls out as Asher walks even more faster making his way out of the hospital

Mandy catches up with him panting

“ I shouldn't have even bothered coming here in the first place anyways" Asher complains bitterly

“ Hey " Nephrite Waves at Asher who smile at her

“ hey neph" he greets quitely

After the hospital checkup Asher had decided that he was going home, he didn't want anyone asking him what's wrong or if was okay

but after five minutes of staying at home alone, he got bored and decided to go to class, though it wasn't necessary considering the fact that Mandy took a day of for the both of them

Mandy left to some countryside club fun house thou she had invited him, the stubborn male refused and insited on going home

‘‘ I really should learn to make nonmuddled headed decisions'' he mumbled to himself and with no where to go to, he decided that attending the remaining lectures of the day would be better than loafing around

And that's what lead to the situation of him deciding on visiting his twins teacher

Mr sammuel, Sam for short

“ umm ... Asher" Mr Sam stares surprised, ever since he lost his favorite student Ashen, during the first few weeks Asher came around but he hardly ever visits after that, it's almost been half and year since his last visit

“ hello Mr Sam"

“ heard you took a day off"

“ how did you know”

“ it's not so hard to find out about your absent and present days in school, especially since I'm a lecturer here" Mr Sam says adjusting his glasses

“ oh"

“ I don't mean any harm, just wanted to check up on you, I'm not that close to you, so I don't know how you would feel if I approached you" Asher smiles

“ yeah ... I was just passing ...so I said ‘why don't I say hi to mr Sammie ' "the two males burst at laughing at Asher attempt to babying mock voice

“ Mr Sammie? " Mr sammuel ask his laugh finally settling down

“ yeah ... I'm I didn't ...

“ it's fine it's fine" Mr Samuel chuckles waving his hand in dismissal “ I really don't mind"

silence settle in the office, a comfortable silence, one Asher hasn't felt since his twins demise

“ how classes going anyways ....

After there little chit chat Asher walks out of the office smiling, he accidentally bumps into someone

“ watch it ..." the person soft but annoyed voice says walking away, Asher stares at the familiar back as it gets lost in a crowd of students bodies

“ Sha ?..." he mumbles confused before running after the person “ ASHEN WAIT!!! ..." he pushes his way through the crowd and out school following the person to an abdonded alley were it disappears “ hold one I just wanna talk please ... sha, Ashen wait ..." ....
