Denver was standing guard outside the door and Cora had left to find Sam. I was all alone with Jack as Lilly slept. I would have been able to focus on studying what Cora had written if Jack hadn't been staring at me. I looked up and our eyes met, but he didn't look away. I raised my eyebrows in a 'what' motion. I was way too annoyed to deal with anyone's antics right now. Let alone a guy I've only met once in the training building. "Sorry," He laughed.
