I woke up like any other day in the Packhouse. Starting slowly, I check the window for any sign of Mana, but nothing had been disturbed. I had even tried laying treats out for him. Living here so far away from the outside it was easy to forget about wild Manticore's existence, and treat Mana as a family member. It's a little scary thinking of him out there with untamed Manticores. Please be okay baby boy. I send good thoughts his way. I would ask the Moon Goddess to watch over him as other Amaruqs would, but considering Selene is trapped inside of me I find it a little silly. I showered and dressed in a fitted grey T-shirt and Capri leggings, along with the best running shoes I could find. If I have to run like my life depended on it later I wanted to be ready.
