"Are you okay?"
I turned to Zep, who appeared to have just finished her set, and waved to Kevin before taking a seat next to me. It's Roux's turn to dance on stage, and we're here to kill time and hang out in front of Kevin while waiting on Roux.
"It's just too much messing around with my head," I shrugged in response to Zep.
"Relax, overthinking won’t help you. You can't answer everything on that one."
I know Zep is correct, but I can't help myself. It's really nice that my daughter isn't here, so I'm free to get crazy about everything in my head.
