As I watched Eli beat the two men, I hugged my hands to my body, tears welling up in my eyes. No matter how tightly I hugged myself, it still didn’t stop the shivering. As I watched Eli beat them, I could not even feel pity. Instead, disgust prevailed in my body and fear. I wanted to stop him and what he was doing because he might have killed the two men if he hadn't.
"E—Eli..." I called out in hushed tones.
"Of course, baby!"
Even though he was busy with the man he was beaten, Eli was still able to hear my faint call to him. He dashed over to me and asked if I was okay and if anything hurt in my body.
“G—get me out of here, get me away from them,” I mumbled, clutching his arm tightly.
