The next few months pass quickly, in a blur of activity. Tristan was right: we have a lot to do, but it is almost entirely good things. At the end of each day, I am exhausted in the best way, and then I get to go to bed with my wonderful mate and wake up beside him each morning, and I couldn’t feel any luckier.
Werewolf pregnancies progress faster than human ones, especially when there is Alpha blood involved, and Tristan has not only Alpha blood but the blood of kings in his veins. I ask him early on how he feels about being the king’s son, the unknown prince, which he only learned about on the day of his death.
