They were driving on the road just having a good time that Thanks Giving break. They were on their way to see James, who was actually Raven's oldest cousin, Hawk. Suddenly a female deer and her fawns ran right in front of their car, Condor tried to steer out of the way of the deer but the truck went rolling over the dirt roads.
When the truck finally came to a stop it was demolished. The windows were shattered to a million tiny pieces, dents covered the car, a door feel off now on the grassy earth. Pigeon was bleeding, and raven was getting crushed, but Raven's grandparents were in a sleep and would never wake up.
Smoke blocked Raven's view all she could see was glass, smoke and the seat belt she could not undo, she was stuck in her seat and she was going to die there. She then heard a bird Screech, at first she thought it was her cousin Hawk coming because they hadn't arrived yet but standing in front of her was a large, young male Kestrel. A Kestrel. She thought before she fainted the last thing she remembered was the feeling slim soft of arms wrapping around her, and dragging her out of the vehicle she was trapped in and thinking "Yes ! I'm finally saved!"

( several days later )
After waking up to the steady beeping of a heart monitor Raven slightly started opening her eyes, they hurt and she wanted to shut her eyes. Her vision was blurry she could barely make out the shape of the hospital bed that was only a few feet away from she was resting.
She felt the weight of someone else sitting on her hospital bed beside her. Her cousin reached out and put his right hand on her head, "How are you feeling Raven?" James asked her in a plaintive voice.
"I'm feeling a little bit better now that you are here." Raven responded with a small smile. "How do I look?" she wondered if she still looked like herself after the car crash.
"You are still better looking than me," he joked making her feel a little bit better.
Pigeon sat up in her hospital bed with a hand holding her face, Pigeon's bandages were on her head and face, while Raven wore casts on her legs, on her left arm and one on her neck.
Pigeon smiled at her she pointed at a puncture wound on her head, "Look i'm holy" she said. Raven, Hawk, and Pigeon all started laughing like a pack of hyenas until they began to realize how much laughing hurt. Hawk stopped his laughing once he realized that the two girls were in pain.
Raven noticed that Kestrel was sleeping in a waiting chair across the hospital room. What, why is he here, why would he be here? She looked at him for awhile until he woke up.
"Raven you are finally up i have been waiting for you to wake up for a few hours," Kestrel told her as he walked over to her hospital bed. Once he sat down next to her he held her hand with his "Your grandparents died in the car crash, I am sorry for your grave loss."
Raven cried her tears fell from her eyes in great amounts, for she had never felt such agonizing pain in her life not even when her parents died. Her reaction made her hurt but there was no stopping the tears she was crying. Raven cried for hours her will was not strong enough to hold back the tears that fell from her green eyes and the sadness she was feeling.
