Baby Series # 1:- Sam

CHAPTER EIGHT

Sam was working on a file when her cellphone buzzes, without seeing caller id she answered " Sam I know you forget about our lunch date." Neil yelled.

Sam closes her eyes wincing and massaging her forehead with her finger she replies.

"Neil!!! I will be deaf because of you and Alexa, can't you say anything without shouting. I am in my office, will leave in ten minutes, and it's not a date."

" Sam I was expecting, Oh Neil I am so sorry I forgot but I will come as soon as possible because you are late Sam!!! I am waiting for you for the past thirty minutes. " In the end, Neil again shouted, causing her to remove the phone from her ear. She was so engrossed in the file she didn't realize the time.

" Neil, I will be there in fifteen minutes, and it's not like you are getting bored there I know you must have exchanged your number with someone and performed your THAT in the bathroom or somewhere," Sam said shaking her head, wrinkling her nose and then placed the phone between her shoulder and ear and resume her work.

" Sam!!! I didn't know you were so possessive about me, you were stalking me, and it was in the fire exit stairs, you know waitress in that sexy uniform with sexy legs which were wrapped around my... and it was great, it feels great you know against wall or..."

"Neil!!! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR.., I am not coming for lunch" with that she hung up her phone. Sam was not in a good mood and anything... even if someone breathed near her, she will explode, she was so pissed off. AND only one person was responsible for all this, was none other than The great JASPER STEVE.

Sam groans frustrated and shut down her MacBook, and informing her assistant she was going for lunch, then she entered the lift. Sam entered the restaurant after parking her car. As soon as she entered, her eyes started looking for Neil. He ran her eyes to the entire restaurant and did not see Neil in any chair. She was looking for her cell phone to call him when she saw him. He was standing in front of the counter flirting with one waitress. GREAT!!!

She moves toward him, then patted his shoulder. At first, he shrugged off, Sam was already pissed off, she slapped him at the back of his head very hard.

" You!!! motherf**...- oh Sam what are you doing here." Neil was shocked.

Sam was standing before him in her usual style, one arched eyebrow, folded hands in front of her chest, and a bored look on her face.

" Shall we discuss the actual reason for this meeting," Sam said and without glancing him, occupied an empty seat on a corner.

" Oh come on Sam, you are late and your mood is off, it should be me not you, just because I am your best friend does not mean you will only show me your attitude. I know your husband is the reason for-"

" Now how did Jasper come between all these?"

" Really Sam, we both know what I am trying to tell you but you know what, Alexa is also following you, just because that boy what was his name, Tom is handsome does not mean she will kiss him. Just because that Jasper boy was hot and handsome you did the THAT with him. And both boys are a jerk. She didn't kiss me but kissed some unknown jerk, don't look me like that yes!!! I am jealous, she Sam!!! my angle refused to kiss me, just because that, ok I am also handsome and hot but..." He was mumbling to himself.

"Neil you know we both love you and relax that person was just trying to help her in ice cream shop, and YOUR ANGLE thought she should thank him, nothing much now stop sulking, you look like a rotten tomato," Sam said chuckling then said softly like she was talking to a child, she could not help herself, it was hilarious to see Neil sulking.

" No!!! As soon as you both see handsome boy your mind stop working, smart and handsome boys are the weakness of both of you. I am not sulking, I am just worried, I have to save both of you from such jerks." Neil said softly touching the hand of Sam, placed on the table and gently running his thumb on it.

" Hey!!! relax ok WE love you, Neil, stop being such a cry baby. Now tell me what your father said to you?" Sam knew it has something to do with his father and yesterday's call.

" Sam it is nothing...-" but stopped when he sees her Mumma look.

" He wants me to back in Chicago, I don't know something like that company needs me. But I told him I will come after solving your case and yeah you both are precious to me, I am not going to leave you both." Neil said giving her a small smile, Sam feels something was wrong which Neil was not telling her, but Sam was not nosy, she knew after someday, he will tell her.

"Ok if you say so, and I am not like you and my mind works perfectly even in the presence of whatever you call handsome boys, I am resistant to their charms," Sam said.

" Yeah except one..." Neil said mockingly.

" Ok enough of your drama, you want to talk about something meaningful or I should go back to my office," Sam said trying to stand from her chair but Neil grabs her hand saying,

" I have some good news. I got data about who has taken how much money from the Walton, with a transaction date. And all dates are near the date when we filled that case." Neil informed her.

" Well Neil you are not so bad, I was thinking..." Sam was so happy that it was overwhelming, she did not understand what to say.

" Really Sam I told you good news and ok... tell me what are you thinking? and I know, something is going on in your mind." It was now Neil's turn to give her a look with an arched eyebrow.

" Well I know I am being stupid or paranoid but what if I told Alexa about Jasper but he will refuse to accept her or what if he tries to take her away from me. Or maybe he tries to use her for this case, I mean he is Jasper Steve he can do anything. I want... Neil, I badly want to tell my daughter about his father but... I am scared. I was thinking, I will tell her after this case but what if he knew before all this. Alexa will hate me for hiding all this from her. Or maybe...-"

" Hey Sam, relax ok, she is just a child but she will understand... now shush... I am hungry and just some time ago I exerted so much energy. So, can we order?" Sam chuckled at his drama and hugged him, and both had their lunch. Unknown to chocolate brown eyes glaring both of them with envy.

When Jasper reached Sam's company, he was informed she left for lunch, but here he was seeing both of them happily chatting, eating, and flirting.

Japer was seeing red, that i***t not only hugs her but kissed her on the top of the head. Jasper was never of those who lost his calm, he was always calculative and reacts very carefully. But seeing this he was losing his control.

As Neil entered his car, Sam was waving her hand and then turned around to reach her car.

But as soon as she turned, someone gripped her wrist tightly and starts dragging her towards the corner. She panicked and tried her best to get rid of that iron hand, she was going to shout for help when that person caged her between him and the wall. It was so shocking for her that her voice was stuck in her throat. She stared at that man wide eyes. Jasper was standing in front of him. She can clearly see even behind those glasses his eyes were so red and sharp she thought he will burn her with fire laser and he was breathing so fast. Jasper was angry, very angry. Sam was scared but she calms herself and with the same intensity, she glared him.

Both were breathing fast and they were staring at each other but nobody was saying anything. Both chests were moving up and down. Sam was already pissed off and the reason was in front of her, and manhandling her.

She shut her eyes to calm her mind, the Jasper was looking at her with such intense emotions, she can't specify what was that.

" What!!! do you want Jasper, I don't have time to waste, move!!!" Saying that she tried to leave from the side but Jasper had another plan. He blocked her path by placing one hand on the wall caging her.

" Jasper move or I will shout," Sam replied with greeted teeth, because of being so close to him, her mind stopped working. She can see he was so handsome, behind those glasses the milky chocolate brown eyes were so hypnotizing they were luring her towards them. She saw his face moving closer to her, his face was so close. She forgot how to breathe.

" Relax Sam, I just wanted to talk to you, no I wanted to inform you I know about your secret. The secret you have hidden from me." Jasper said grazing his stubble on her cheeks playfully, well it looked playfully but Sam knew it was taunting. Sam thought he got to know about Alexa, she panicked, the face of Jasper starts to blur from her vision as her eyes filled with unshed tears.

"Jasper I don't know what you are talking about, you are harassing me, my lawyer will talk to you, now leave!!!." Sam tried to threaten him. But mentioning that MAN was the biggest mistake in front of a possessive man, it added fuel in his already fuming anger.

" You know very well Sam, I can destroy that moron's career and I saw you both being cozy, I can see he is your new toy, did he know you are my wife? Huh." Jasper removed his glasses and whispered near her ear, gently grazing his lips on her ear.

Causing Sam to breathe harshly, Sam was trying to calm her heart and her mind but the proximity of Jasper was not helping her. She calmed her mind and pushing Jasper away from her shouted angrily " That's none of your business. I can do whatever I want and with anyone I want. You don't own me, You are no one to me. I was Jasper, I was your wife, did you get that I was...Mhmm....." Sam's voice lost in Jasper's mouth, his lips attack her lips, he was so angry and he showed all his anger in that kiss, it was like he was punishing her with his lips. He sucked her lower lip but can't get enough. Growling, his left hand gripped Sam's silky soft hair softly. Sam was flushed between Jasper's hard body and wall. Her mind was all fuzzy she was so lost, but she was reciprocating the kiss with the same hunger and passion. She moaned in the kiss, and hearing this, by circling her petite waist with his right hand Jasper pulled her so close to him. He wanted Sam as near as he could. Sam's height was not helping her at all, she wrapped Jasper's neck with both her hands and stands on her toes. Both were unaware of this, but in that kiss, both were expressing their anger, loneliness, and love for those four years. They both were breathless, with a last quick peck they created little distance between their faces. Jasper was lost in those teary ocean eyes, she was still beautiful, because of their kiss her hair was messy and was hiding her beautiful face from him. Her face was red and flustered because of his unwavering gaze and those lips were swollen because of his sweet torture. She was trying to catch her breath. He tucked those disturbing strands behind her ear. But like a beautiful spell was broken they realize their situation. Jasper was the first one to react and as her touch burns him, he harshly removed her hands.

And making a poker face said, " I-It was a mistake, I was not thinking and it was not like I forced you, you reciprocated that kiss."

The happy moment was crushed by the person who himself had created it. Sam felt bad, she was so hurt. But this time she was not going to cry and taking a long breath she smiled. Jasper was not expecting this from her, he was so shocked that he didn't notice Sam pulled him by his collar and slammed her lips on his lip. She was sucking and biting his lips. Jesper didn't know what was happening, he feels Sam's one hand was running on his chest, sending the sensation at his lower region. He groaned between their kiss, she was still his favorite dessert. Jasper was going to wrap his hands around her waist when Sam pushed him. He was expecting the blushing flustered Sam, but Sam standing before him was bearing an unreadable expression. He flinched when her cold eye stare at him like it was directly looking at his soul. And THE JASPER STEVE was feeling intimidated in the presence SAMANTHA.

" This kiss was not a mistake Mr. Steve, I kissed you because I wanted to. At least one time in your life stop being coward and accept your doing. I am not ashamed of this kiss." Japer stammered saying " I uh... I am sorry Sam but..."

" And Mr. Steve stop calling me by my first name, only close one are allowed to call me Sam and we don't know each other, you are just a lawyer of my competitor and nothing. I hope it will remain the same. You said that kiss was a mistake, so be a man and at least take responsibility for that mistake or never repeat the same mistake. See you at the next meeting, goodbye Mr. Steve." with that Sam left him without giving a single glance. Jasper saw her entering her car and leaving that parking.
