Baby Series # 1:- Sam

CHAPTER SIX

Sam was very angry, she was so worried about her little troublemaker, she nearly got heart-attack about her missing and here she was eating her ice cream happily, that too alone.

"Alexa, how many times I told you don't go anywhere alone? I told you clearly just stay where I left you, why you move away from that place and who give you this ice- cream?" Although she was relieved, she was still a little mad.

" Mommy, I made a new friend, he also gives me his ice cream but he left next time I will introduce him to you." Alexa was very excited to tell her mom about her new friend, she missed her mother's stern and angry look.

" But baby what Mumma told you about the strangers and we can't take anything from a stranger, what if he was a bad guy?" Sam said softly taking her seat next to her daughter.

" But mommy he is my friend, and don't tell anyone but I kissed him as thank you. You always tell we should thank someone if he helps us." The role was reversed Alexa was softly explaining to her mother as if she was talking to a child. Alexa was looking so cute that Sam can't help but one sid of her mouth lifted upward.

" Ok mam, But can mommy eat her ice cream now?" She asked Alexa chuckling.

" OH, Mommy you are eating salted caramel gelato??" Alexa said placing her both hands on her cheeks and with a surprised expression.

"Do you have any problem, Alexa?" Sam asked arching her one eyebrow.

" Salted caramel gelato is so simple and boring," Alexa announced simply shrugging her shoulder like it was the most obvious thing. Sam was shocked and she saw Jasper in her daughter. Alexa was more like Jasper in every aspect, from her milk chocolate brown eyes to that cute frown and that intimidating aura. 

 One salted caramel gelato and one Mastic paired with Mahlab." As Sam said Jasper scoffed loudly shaking his head.

"Do you have any problem, Jasper?"

" For a person who was just lecturing me just a minute ago about being boring and predictable, your salted caramel gelato is very common and simple," Jasper said taunting. Sam opened her mouth to argue but Jasper beats her saying.

 " Salted caramel gelato is so simple and boring," Jasper said shrugging his shoulder.

" What! I am not that boring ok, I just don't try anything new because I like stability, I don't want unnecessary whatever. " With a smug look, Sam said the same line that Jasper had told her just a minute ago.

Sometimes she envies Jasper, she was the one who was raising Alexa but she was more like Jasper. She wanted to forget everything related to Jasper and that city, but also that city and that man gave her the most precious gift of her life.

 " Oh, now I am boring Huh," Sam said with a hurt look. Alexa being an innocent child, thought she hurts her mom and now she was sad because of her and her eyes start to fill with unshed tears and her lower lips wobbled. Sam was carrying sleeping Alexa, with her arms around Sam's neck and head in the crook of the neck, she opened her daughter's room which was light purple, after changing her clothes, she tucked her in bed. Alexandria Jessica Steve, how often she thought, she will not give his name to her daughter or she will never tell her about her father. But every child deserved to know about their parents, her child deserves to know about her father, her daughter has every right to take her father's name. She may hate Jasper or that's what she thought but she will never allow her daughter to be affected by her parent's hatred. She will make sure of that. And she left the room after kissing her daughter's forehead. 

In her bed, Sam was wondering how she would introduce Alexa and Jasper to each other. They don't even know anything about each other. Right now Alexa is little but she is growing up when her friend will have both parents but she will only have one, when she asks, what will I say? What if I told her about Jasper but he refused to accept her. It will break her fragile heart. But what if Jasper tries to take her away from her. She has seen both the stubbornness and the cruelty of jasper. once If he decides about something, he will achieve it no matter what it takes, or no matter whatever happens. She used to think that no matter how bad a person is, there is always a little goodness hidden in him. Once in the past, she dreamed of having family and love from Jasper.  Sam fell asleep thinking about all events. On the other place, Jasper was sleeping soundly unaware of everything.  

But Destiny was smiling at both of them, both of them did not know what she was planning. But whatever was going to happen, was going to change everything between them. Destiny did not introduce both of them unnecessarily for ruining it again and she will take care of every moment that, this time they both will get their happy ending. Not necessarily in our life, all the roads will be full of flowers, but not all of them are also full of thorns, but when we think of traveling, we always hope for path filled with flowers, We should always keep the courage of walking in the thorn filled roads. The courage, patience, trust and a partner whom you love with your whole heart are enough to complete the journey, it does not matter if the path is full of flowers or thorns. It depends on Sam and Jasper, what will they do? but Destiny will take full care of this, they will get the full opportunity, which will help them to complete their journey called HAPPY ENDING.
