Baby Series # 1:- Sam

CHAPTER SEVEN

 Sam wakes up when the first ray of the morning hits her face. As soon as she woke up, she remembered what happened yesterday, she was hoping that everything was a dream. After finishing her morning routine she went to Alexa's room. Alexa was sleeping with her favorite stuffed unicorn, it was Neil's gift for her second birthday. Seeing her sleeping, she remembered her childhood, Sam's mother used to scold her " She used to sleep like a dead body, in a star shape, both arms and legs wide open with mouth open saliva in the corner of her mouth. Planting a soft kiss on her left cheeks she said " Rise and shine baby, now get up." In reply, she showed her back and fell asleep facing the other side. Sam starts tickling her.

" Mommy!!!" Alexa squeals laughing.

After readying Alexa, Sam went to prepare breakfast. Alexa looks cute in her white hoodie and denim jeans shorts. Sam started making breakfast, after placing Alexa in the dining hall's chair. After finishing their breakfast Sam picked both of their bags and exited her apartment.

  She had paired a white skirt with a long-sleeved yellow blouse, and her hair was tied in a ponytail. She was driving Alexa to her playschool when her cell-phone ringed, she was going to answer that but Alexa beats her shouting

" Neil!!! Yesterday I made a new fwiend" ( friend)

" Good morning to you, angel, and tell me she was a little girl with piggy- tail," Neil said hoping it was not another boy, who she will give a kiss.

" No! He was a boy with bewad ( beard) and he was handsome, and.. and also he gave me ice-cream." Alexa exclaimed loudly, causing Sam to chuckle.

" Angle boys are bad, very bad you should stay away from them and SAM!!! did you hear that she made a friend with a boy, Sam boy!!! " Neil shouted, Sam, imagined Neil's horrified face by his voice, shaking her head she replied.

" Neil, going to drop Alexa in her school, why you called?"

" Meet me at your lunch break near your company's cafe, I have some good news regarding the case." Neil's tone was now changed in the business mode.

Sam entered her office, after divorcing Jasper Sam was ready to move on but she was not well qualified for high and nice jobs. She joins online classes while continuing jobs in many places. She met Neil in a restaurant where she worked as a waitress, he fought with his father and was in a very bad mood, Sam was working while being pregnant and she mismatches his order. Despite such a bad mood, Neil can't help himself to complain, instead, he offered her a normal job. He helped her in her pregnancy, pursuing a degree and with a job. Neil was a family.

While being pregnant and jobless she suffered every hardship. Neil may help her in finding a job, but she was in the high post because of her hard work, dedication, and patience.

It was two months since she met Jasper in The Saphire, she tried every way but she didn't manage to get another appointment to meet The famous Jasper Steve. She was waiting in the lobby waiting for Jasper or his secretary, today she came thinking that whatever happens, she will meet Jasper. She was thinking of a plan, how will she convince Jasper for the meeting. Then she saw Jasper coming, his secretary tailing behind him. He still looks handsome, he carried himself with so much confidence. He was oozing with hotness yet arrogance. He was talking with someone on his phone, well-barking order to someone as well as nodding to his secretary, whatever his secretary was telling him. She takes baby steps towards him hesitantly, and at safe distance, she stopped weighing his mood. But what she heard makes her blood boil.

" Sir, your schedule is free for three days, if you will allow I can schedule pending appointments as per your convenience." His secretary said timidly.

" Ok, but an only important one, and please leave anyone with the name Samantha, Just make her for another month then you can fix an appointment," Jasper ordered without giving any expression.

Sam called her secretary to know about today's schedule and works, which were pending. Then she informed her secretary " I am not free for any new meetings which are not scheduled till now, just consult with me before fixing any meeting and do not... did you get it? do not fix any meeting till next week with Knight Co. or Mr. Walton or Jasper Steve."

Sam was so busy, since morning, and the headache was not helping her. It was the first time since she joined the company she was working absent-minded or she was not well focused on her tasks. Her thoughts were occupied by non-other than Jasper, she was confused, stressed, and tired.

In Knight Co.

The atmosphere was awkward and intense. Jasper was sitting on the couch and in front of him, behind the big table Mr. Walton in the chair. Jasper was always very serious for his work and case but, this time he was curious mainly because it was related to Samantha or it was against Samantha. He had many questions like what does Sam want? what is the relation of this old man with Sam? How is she able to stand against Mr. Walton, he knew this old man was powerful. Sam can't stand against him unless she got someone who was backing her. Then he remembers that man who was with her in a previous meeting, he scoffed thinking " of course now she had a new victim." 

When the first time he met her, she was just an entertainer in a club. He was working in a Divorce case at that time, his client's claim that her husband was cheating on her. But she did not have many proofs, her husband had money and very connections, so neither she was getting settlement fees nor her child's custody. That day he came to know that her husband is going to come to that club. To collect more proof he and his team went to that club. As soon as he entered the club, he dislikes that club at the same moment. This was the place that broke so many families. These girls want only money, they will do anything for money. Such an easy way to choose to earn money.

After explaining his plan to his team, he started moving towards the lift. The floor where they were was for VIPs. He can hear those moaning and other disgusting sounds coming from other rooms, he wanted to leave this place as soon as possible. He called his driver to ready his car and walked hurriedly toward the lift. He was putting his phone in the pocket when he collided with something or someone because of that his cellphone also fell.

He didn't pay any attention and was bending to pick up his phone when very sweet voice replied causing him to halt "Sorry, I wasn't looking"

He picked up his phone and dusting off suit he said: "You should be."

"Excuse me," She asked angrily.

When he turns around to give her... when his eyes clashed with hypnotizing ocean blue eyes which were burning with rage, her dark chocolate brown hair was neatly tied in a ponytail, some loose strands were kissing her rosy cheeks, he badly wanted to remove those lucky strands and those perfect kissable lip was pouting. Jasper thought about how it will feel to... JASPER!!!

"Yes, you are excused." And with that, he turned around and without giving her another glance, he entered the lift. As the lift's door closed he realizes she was a worker in this club, which means she was the type of woman whom he hated the most. The money-hungry and greedy women.

" Mr, Steve, I know you have many questions and as a good client I will tell you everything, whatever you will ask but, you also have to help me to win this case, Sam is blinded by hatred and..." Mr. Walton said.

" I don't need you to tell me everything Mr. Walton I just hope you will tell me the truth. I don't wanna ruin my record of winning every case just because some girl, with whom you have whatever relation." Jasper warns Walton.

" Samantha, she is my daughter her mother... we had arranged or you can say had contract marriage. I didn't realize in my busy schedule or because of the stress of handling the company. My wife and my daughter both were drifting away from me. She was very attached to her mother, and being the only child we spoiled her too much. We may have married unwillingly but we fall in love with each other, or that's what I thought. That toxic relationship burned my seven-year-old daughter. My wife died when she was seven years old. But my daughter blamed me because I was not with her when she died, I was on a business trip, that deal was so important but if I knew sooner I have left that deal. My little sweet and innocent daughter started hating me, I thought she was very little she needed a mother figure in her life so I married again. But it was a mistake which I still regret. She was angry that I gave another woman her mother's place. The atmosphere of the house was very bad, she was always coped in her room and even ate her food there and did not talk to anyone. I thought she needed some time so, I send her in boarding school. On her eighteenth birthday, I was going to pass her company but she ran off with her boyfriend. I don't want my company to crumble down, it is the result of my late wife's and my hard work, I don't want it to destroy by some girl who is filled with so much anger and hatred, she has gone blind in revenge." Walton said with so much sadness.

But in the whole story, Jasper only catches Samantha was an heiress of fu**ing Knight Co.

" You are money hungry gold digger"

" Such a cheap woman you are, you will do anything for money."

" I am sure you have never seen so much money in your life"

" Are you dumb woman, such a low life you are, are you illiterate at least read what written here."

" You only want money and comfortable lavish life."

" Such trash you are, your worth is less than... forget it I don't want to complete it."

" You don't have any emotions, you can't fool me with your innocent and goodie good looks."

" Mr. Jasper... are listening Mr. steve???"

" Huh yeah... Uhm yes" Jasper replied.

" Mr. Walton if Sam was going to inherit this company that time, so what is a problem in that now, she may be some years late but she still has the rights," Jasper asked Walton. He was still in shock that he missed an angry look at the old man's face.

" She has her shares in this company but now she is claiming of being a major shareholder but in our record, she only has 15% of her shares. We sometimes become blind in our revenge that we can't differentiate what is wrong and right and hurt someone, but when we realize it, it's too late. I don't want to lose my daughter and company. A company that has memories of my love, my late wife. She may don't realize but she has a very soft heart she will be not able to handle so much regret when she realizes it." Walton said.

" Mr. Walton I don't care about your father-daughter relationship or this damn company, but the case, my case is simple someone is claiming, she has more shares in this company and if she is lying or fabricating any evidence, we will sure... win this case. I want all share information, her share. You know everything. Again I am reminding you, Mr. Walton do not hide anything from me, right, false, true anything. Then only I can help you. The case is very simple just arrange a meeting with her we will solve everything, it will take only one meeting." Jasper said while standing and buttoning his suit and with a quick node, he hand-shake with Mr. Walton.

While leaving the company he thought "Looks like it is time to pay visit Miss Samantha."
