Chapter Fifty Three

1446 Words

Opal I don’t know what had come over me but one thing was for certain. I felt more free here in the beautiful quiet mountain valley. It was definitely a place where I felt free. And maybe that was the reason I had left my dress fall to my feet and gone off running, completely naked. Summer was in full swing but it was cooler at this height and my skin erupted into goosebumps. Or maybe it was the fact that I could hear Wrens throaty chuckle as he came up behind me. Chasing me like I was his prey. And he was the big bad hunter. No prey wanted to be caught as much as I did though. My whole body was singing with it. My mate was catching up. At any moment I would feel his arms encircle me. He would lay me down on the grass and his teeth would sink into my skin and he sank between my legs.
